Flexinol Moving Butterfly (Blue Morpho)

Ask professional decorator for certain popular restaurants I used these animated butterflies to create a spring theme. They were absolutely stunning as I also purchased the monarch. The wings moved so realistically and attached perfectly through a wire to the branches. The customers were absolutely stunned I highly recommend this.

We manage a luxury condo community and monthly we set up a display for our contest prize giveaway. This month we created a SPRING CONTEST. In the interactive display I wanted to add movement, so I purchased two of the butterflies to add in the flowers. Resident think they are real as the movement attracts their eyes to the display. Great product! Perfect for anyone who wants a little added spring touch to their display or home.

I have ordered this product in past. I plugged it in and it has kept working. I recently ordered another and gave it to someone whose husband had died. I installed it myself for her thinking it would keep fluttering in remembrance of her husband. Unfortunately it stopped working in within a week. Sad. Not to mention the emotional effect. She has never owned one. So…I just want it replaced! Help!

I purchased 6 butterflies as office gifts for co-workers. I don't think they were really made to be a toy. They are fragile and very life like. A couple of people have attached them to plants in their offices and they look so lifelike. It has turned out to be a great stress reducer for one person who really loves butterflies. She likes to take a break and just watch it open and close its wings. Turned out to be the gift everyone talked about.

It looks so real and moves occasionally, instead of back and forth, to make it look lifelike. You will notice it move out of the corner of your eye and makes your company look when it flutters. It is made of a heavy durable plastic, detailed beautifully. I also ordered other colors as the wings are interchangeable.

I use the butterfly as a Christmas Tree decoration. It is graceful, beautiful and almost looks real. One word of caution. These animated butterflies are delicate. I recommend storing them in boxes.

First the good bits. This butterfly is pretty on both the top and the underside. It was also much bigger than I expected in the pictures. It is approximately 4" by 4" in size. The bad. The speed of flapping the wings is not very realistic. It is open 2 seconds between flaps. The wings only close part way and are open most of the way even when they are in the "closed" position.

A great gift to anyone who loves butterflys. This amazing animated butterfly just stays in one spot opening and closing its wings. Most people that see this think it is a live Butterfly and are amazed when they find out it is an animated one.
