Yes, the fabric is spongy and flimsy. Yes, you must be careful not to get it caught on sharp things. Yes it’s a warm weather throw. BUT I threw this on last-minute for a meal outdoors at a posh seaside resort and POW my simple sleeveless sheath dress was stunning. Lots of compliments! Last week I wore it to another dinner out with friends and in an unexpected unpredictable London summer downpour, it kept me warm—NOT waterproof but quick drying, so the evening was not ruined by a soggy dress. Did not expect that! Versatile since you can wear as a rectangular shawl, a large throw almost knee- length at points, or longish scarf over hair. Love it!

Yes it will snag on anything with even the slightest rough surface but it is super comfy, long enough to cover the mum tum (size 20 so not always something I find easy to do) and is cool while providing a little coverage in scorching weather. Not washed it yet but I'm thinking I will hand wash and shape damp to avoid it being ruined. All in all for the price I think it's great and will be ordering more. Amy

After only worn for an hour has snagged like a pair of tights, completely unmendable.

Great colour - sadly it laddered the first time I wore it.However I love the colour so much I use it as a scarf.With careful wearing I think it would look great

I love these little ponchos, they are so light and colourful and they look so stylish that I now have them in 5 colours. They tear easily though, which is actually to be expected, but a skillful knitter or crocheter would find it easy to mend.
