I ordered this desk in Teal during a Prime Day sale for $99, which made it an amazing deal! I am using this desk for my computer (Corsair Crystal 570X case & 24" monitor). This was the perfect size to fit in the smaller space that I was putting this desk, and allows me to fit my computer case, a monitor, mouse and keyboard, and still have a good amount of space. With this one monitor setup, I don't feel cramped or like the desk is too small. Adding a second monitor though, will require some careful thought of the desk layout to be sure there is enough space.Pros:-The teal color is just as shown in the picture and the desk arrived as shown in the picture (but with a bit less distressing)-The assembly pieces are all hard wood versus an MDF-Very sturdy and does not wobble or move if you push against it-Did come with the woven basket as shown in the picture-Perfect size for what I needed-Absolutely excellent price for $99!-Good, heavy duty hardware for assembly and sturdiness-Fairly easy assembly. It took maybe 30 minutes to get out of the box and put this together.Cons:-The shelves were a little annoying to get the screws lined up-I wish that the shelves were just a few inches wider (although this was in the description, so was not the fault of this desk or ad) as I would've liked to be able to forego the top shelf and instead put my computer on the bottom shelf.-Not quite as much distressing as shown in the pictureIn conclusion, I am very happy with this desk. It fits in my space perfectly and looks beautiful.

We were looking at this desk in black finish for my teen daughter's new updated room decor, and another desk on Amazon of a similar design & price, & decided to go with this one after seeing it on display at a local furniture store in Louisville. The reviews on the other one often had gripes about the uneven paint & cheap MDF construction... plus no basket either... for close to same price (new).I took a close look at these Ashley Signature floor model desks (in blue, black, & white) and all were very sturdy, with smooth, attractive, satiny finishes constructed of what felt & looked like solid wood, and the paint coverage looked excellent.I took a chance & purchased the USED- VERY GOOD option here with Amazon Prime for about $87. It said the packaging would be damaged. I'm really pleased we took a chance on it because the desk came quickly and in EXCELLENT condition! We could not find anything wrong with it!So my two older teens decided to put the desk together by themselves ASAP. All went well until they tried to line up the shelves with the legs. They tried several different configurations and couldn't get the holes to line up on both legs!If this happens to you, rest assured that it does line up! Keep trying. Here's the tips:1. Do NOT tighten all the screws as you go. Leave them a bit loose. Then tighten them once it's all put together. That's the most important advice to follow.2. There was some kind of glue in one of the screw hole threads. Because the threads are actually inside a metal insert that's glued inside the screw holes. So my husband had to scrape the glue out of the threads with a fine detailing pick called a scribe, so that the screws would tighten properly. He found glue in only one hole. This may have only been a problem in our case and may not be a common issue for everyone else.So my husband stepped in, had no problems lining things up, and saved the day.We're very happy with the final product. My daughter was using an old fashioned little metal school desk up until now. She has a huge amount of space & storage now and is thrilled.I highly recommend the desk, and even the discounted one (if it's just packaging damaged). The desk won't be damaged unless it says so.The desk does indeed come with a woven water hyacinth basket (made of natural fibers). It slides in and fits perfectly on the top shelf, which has a smaller footprint than the lower shelf.There's plenty of leg room as well, including room for your computer tower or a wastebasket.I'm considering getting another one of these for myself as a sewing & craft table as well. Wish they'd bring back the wood tone brown color though.I definitely recommend this. Great value, especially if you opt for the discounted one with Prime free shipping.

Assembly was easy. Small but sturdy! Love the rustic look and the little wicker basket it comes with is a nice touch. I paired it with a blue chair like the ones in my dining area.

These desks, which I chose to create an at home work station turned out to be even better than I could have imagined. They are airy looking while still providing ample work top space, and not too heavy because they are real wood. The first one took me an hour, the second one half an hour. I had a ratcheting screwdriver that had the matching bit to the little hand wrench they provided with the desk for assembly which made very quick work of assembly. Not too many parts, truly easy to put together. They are amazing desks for the price, I would give them 6 stars if I could.
