Fabulous design and beautiful colours too. This is a really interesting cross stitch especially if you like a bit of variety. Who knew how great a cow could even look?! The quality of the thread is really super too. The pattern is clear to follow as are the instructions. This is the second Bothy Threads design I have completed, and yes, it will probably take me months, but it really is brilliantly therapeutic after a totally stressy day. You do need a good light though, especially if you only can sew in the evening.

Awesome, but a huge commitment. It's the size of a tea towel roughly, so it's going to take a good while to complete. Absolutely wonderful design, and I cannot wait to, one day, get it framed. It will take pride of place all year though, as it will take me at least a year to complete.

A great Heirloom project which will make a unique contribution to your Christmas decorations. With twelve very different panels this kit offers variety within the whole. It's takes a good while to make, but worth it. The finishing off brings the whole thing together with sequins and stars but the gold thread is what makes this picture very special. A really lovely piece to make and looks stunning now it's been professionally framed.

Not tried yet. Bought as gift, but looks really lovely. Am sure recipient will be pleased.

Having bought this in August as my next project, I just got round to opening it today. On opening, I could see the white Aida was slightly pink coloured in places. It must have been stained by the red cotton thread attached. Although the pattern covers this in this particular design, this isn’t always the case and would be very disappointing had it been a different design.
