The only issue is we had a hard time getting my car into programming mode. After that it was very easy to program the FOB. Took less than a minute before it was working. Quality is okay. Doesn't seem to be as sturdy as the original. For the price it's a good FOB.

I bought this for a 2004 Buick Lesabre. Even though the description would have you believe it can be programmed by you, it can't be programmed without taking it to a dealer. It comes with a little card that directs you to their website for instructions on how to program it. But as soon I put in what type of car I had it gave me a notice saying "THIS REMOTE/KEY CAN ONLY BE PROGRAMMED USING SPECIAL EQUIPMENT BY THE DEALER OR QUALIFIED LOCKSMITH". Waste of time and money. Then on top of it I had to pay for the label to return it.

Good price and a good product

I had bad buttons and case - my existing circuit board was fine. This item was perfect for that, as it’s super easy to swap everything out. But if you need the circuit board, it has to be coded by the dealer or a locksmith. That’s going to add ~$100 to the cost of the product - just keep that in mind.

I, recently purchased a GMC SAFARI VAN and the 'key bob' was quite used up (letters were rubbed off) - so, I thought why not purchase a new 'key bob' and make my 'new van' respectfully new to the 'key bob' as well.The product was able to be installed via instructions within two attempts to align it with the van's computer system, first time I pressed the 'locking system' in the wrong direction, it must only one way, as indicated, or else failure will occur - overall, after only one mistake and one successful programing the 'key bob' is now working perfectly and with a 'brand new battery' I can be assured that the doors will lock/unlock for some time to come.Overall, good product, worth the bucks and now I feel that my 'new' old van seems like a new one - if that makes sense.
