Makes staining easy
I love this stain and rich brown color. It's easy to wipe on and off with disposable towels. I did learn that it's easily flammable so I soak the rags I use in water after b/c they can easily ignite if you put them in a pile.

Can't beat oil for depth
This fits the bill for my knotty alder house projects allowing considerable variance for a rustic feel when using without a conditioner. The oil still adds depth, but allows for variance and pop. Easy to work and high quality, just like the good old days of Watco.
