These purple potatoes have an excellent flavor. They are supposed to be very good for you. The seed potatoes I received were all the same size, very fresh and perfect for planting. These purple Peruvian potatoes were nothing like the organic purple potatoes I've bought from nearby grocers. They were EXTREMELY small. About 4 or 5 of the potatoes could fit in the palm of my hand! I think they should have labeled them as mini. Lastly, some of these potatoes were barely purple inside; they were more on the white side. Hopefully my order was out of the norm for them and they actually have authentic purple potatoes being delivered in other orders.

They arrived barely seeded and I was concerned they might take a while to get going. However, they sprouted right up! The plants are nearly 6" after only a couple of weeks. The attached pic shows them freshly hilled.Will post follow up once harvested!

Just planted the potatoes, wait and see.

All of them sprouted. At first when I got them, I thought they didn't have enough eyes so I only planted half and left the other half sitting out hoping they would sprout some. I planted those about 1 or 2 weeks later. Happy to say that all are growing as they should:)

These are not Peruvian fingerlings. More likely purple majesty variety. Plump, round, uniform in shape. Product arrived in good condition, viable.
