18x24 Multi-Purpose Silver/Brown Heavy Duty DRY TOP Poly Tarp (18'x24')

We purchased this tarp: “18' x 24' Dry Top Heavy Duty Silver/Brown Reversible Full Size 10-mil Poly Tarp item #218244” by Seller DRY TOP to cover our trailer during our 1500 mile move / relocation of our entire household.When the package was delivered, the first thing that I noticed was how heavy the package itself was. The term “Heavy Duty … Tarp” is an understatement! This is one very thick and extremely HEAVY WEIGHT tarp!! We were caught in some vicious winds during the drive, this tarp went through h*ll – and the tarp held up until the last part of the trip - after we were out of the extreme winds. We were fighting approximately 70 mph head winds for days. Unfortunately for us, we realized we did not have it tied down quite right until it was to late. I definitely do not blame the tarp! It had been years since we had tied a large tarp down and honestly we just didn’t do a very good job. But, the tarp made it through the worst of the weather and that was our main objective!Honestly, this tarp stood up through a horrendous load that we never dreamed it would survive. The load was very awkwardly stacked and with the crazy weight, weather and improper tying down – the tarp didn’t stand a chance. I am just grateful that the tarp got us past the major winds!!Thank you for providing a very heavy duty tarp! I highly recommend this tarp if you have the right application for it. This tarp is so heavy that it really needs to be used properly! it was received right away, appears to be made well, but have not installed it yet. We will be using it as ground-cover under a quik-set 15-foot pool when the weather warms up a bit more. Hopefully it performs like our most recent tarp, as the last one has lasted 2 years and it took a beating from the sun and the weather, as we leave them installed over that area year-round, so we don't have to keep prepping the area to install the pool every year, which has worked very nicely for us that last several years.

Seems to work fine covering my boat this winter. Usually get a couple years out of them

I bought 2 of these tarps 18x20 each and installed them over my inground pool's mesh safety cover. Because the safety cover has minimal ability to filter out the sun, we've had horrible algae growth using the mesh cover alone. Past couple of years we've used a semi solid cover under the mesh cover and that worked ok but it was really difficult to remove all the water. This year we wanted to try a solid cover over the safety cover. Our pool is 16x32. By using 2 of these tarps and overlapping them, rainwater should flow into the pool and whats left on the cover should be easily siphoned off. Covered the pool the beginning of September had 2 days of significant rainfall. So far most of the water is flowing back into the pool which is what we wanted and the remaining water was easy to siphon off. The tarp is really good quality and I just hope it will hold up to this hot Georgia sun. So far, so good!

This tarp is being used as a sunshade on a camper. It has definitely cut the cost of my electric bill.Thank you. DQ

The thickness of this tarp is really good and the hems appear to be good. The spacing of the grommets is good however the only thing I thought that needed a little bit of improvement on was the bite of the grommets into the material. When I had to secure the tarp I found that the grommet slipped out of the material and will probably pull out eventually. Other than that this is definitely the best tarp on the market for the price, if I needed another one I would definitely would buy this again.

My enclosed patio was leaking for many years, I try to fix for many ways, and still leaking. Finally I got this super heavy duty UV treated Tarp and cover on it. Now no more leaking, my wife is more happy than me, now we can conversion to a family room. NO MORE LEAKS. And this is the most cheap way to fix the roof. Of course, I live in poor area, or your neighbor will complain it.
