Love Letter (1995) Miho Nakayama, Etsushi Toyokawa[All Region, Import]

This is the second time I have purchased this movie, because my sister stole the first one from me - she liked it that much, lol. I enjoyed introducing this film to my wife recently. The performances in this movie are fantastic and written well. There's that one scene that really grips me every time. You'll know it when you see it: "Ogenki desu ka?"

I wish more people saw this movie.If you like Japanese love stories from the 90s, you will enjoy this movie. I am not sure if there was an official US release.

We enjoyed this one all the way through. Realistic and down to earth.

It delievry was quick the DVD was in great condition and my wife love the DVD. Also, good price.

Love this movie

I watch foreign movies all the time, and don’t mind subtitles, as for this movie, it dragged-on and on, and the foreshadowing was so blatantly obvious it was difficult to watch to the end. It was on par with Hallmark romances. This is one that goes in the trash; not worth the purchase price, nor saving.

Beautiful. It is slow, but it takes you there, you feel the season they’re in, the warmth they are looking for.

Iwai is an unashamed purveyor of sentimental, feel good movies, but he does them well. Love Letter is a delight, with a good performance from Miho Nakayama, fine cinematography, and a delicate touch from the director, who keeps things just the right side of cloying, with some nice touches of humour.
