American Standard 2946BW.011 Studio 60" x 32" Bathtub Wall Set, White

This tub surround is beautiful. My contractor had an easy time installing and I like how easy it is to clean. I purchased American Standard Cambridge tub, both arctic white and they are great match.

The left wall had a manufacturing defect. It wouldn't snap into the back wall like it's supposed to because some of the tabs that fit into the channel in the back wall were too large. I called American Standard, and their "customer service" guy told me that happens during manufacturing sometimes and told me to use a sharp knife to trim them down to size, which I did and it proved very difficult to do. Also, after removing part of the tab, it doesn't have a water-tight fit in the channel the way it's supposed to. Apparently they have no quality control. No one had inspected it before it was shipped to me, and the customer is supposed to fix the problem.UPDATE: I called American Standard again and told the customer service rep that I wanted a new left wall, without defects. He agreed to send me one at no charge. They were out of stock when I called, and they won't be able to send me one until mid January. Of course, that's a six week delay in my bathroom remodeling project. I asked if they had no quality control, and he said they do, but they don't have time to inspect everything. They must be under-staffed in quality control, probably to save money. I would think that their reputation would be worth hiring enough quality control people.I want to add that my 1 star rating is strictly because of their quality control. I would give the Bathtub Wall Set 5 stars. It's beautiful and has lots of shelves.

Damaged on arrival. Disappointing

This is a very solid purchase because of its many merits. The smooth and glossy acrylic finish is a delight. It is very easy to clean, cutting down on my bathroom maintenance chores significantly. Plus, it looks very nice, adding a touch of elegance to my bathroom. Highly recommend!

had to scramble to get a new 3 piece surround from a city 3 hours away bcz this arrived SO damaged. totally broken. ruined my timeline for my bathroom remodel. literally drove in an ice storm to get a new shower surround over 150 miles away. so upset.

A panel was cracked. This was discovered when I was putting the one "white" panel in the box. The Styrofoam in the pictures is white as is the new paint approximately one inch from the new panel and the bathtub. The enclosure is gray not white.On the initial return info it stated the driver will have the label when picking up the enclosure, later the app stated I needed to print out and have it ready.

Arrived damaged in the left upper corner, the reordered item was also damaged in the left upper corner. Returned both and cancelled order, too much of a hassle to reorder again. Tried a different brand even though I liked this one.
