This has some nice designs for sure. Despite it claiming it includes southwestern states like New Mexico, the book is clearly designed for more northwestern states. There simply were not designs for NM. But, it does give detailed instructions for how-to and a nice plant index. Just wish I lived in Washington or Oregon for this book to be more useful.

Split up a bit too much, some plants on multiple pages. Wanted more SW gadens.

This book had some landscape designs, pictures of each plant with the identification, a glossary, index...a complete package. I highly recommend it if for landscaping you are a DIYer like I am.

Very well-laid out book with great to scale plans for smaller designs. Very helpful with a lot to offer - such as ideas for areas like sloping,shady,desert,etc..Pretty good plant glossary with good tips not normally offered by other guides. Very much worth it. Found exact book at Home Depot for $22!

If one likes diagrams of gardens, this is the book for you. I found it very informative and I will refer to it often. Not only plant diagrams are included but also helpful tips!Great manuel.

This is the best landscaping book I have ever used. It has easy to understand layouts along with shopping lists. This may be the last gardening book you ever need
