There's wheat and then there's bionaturae
I thought I hated whole wheat pasta...I really did. The way it tasted. The way it lacked any sort of chewy texture and just broke off at the slightest pressure. The horrible things it would do to my digestive system afterwards, causing pain and nausea. However, I am trying to slow sugar release from carbs so I stuck with it as much as I could, barely tolerating a half and half mixture now and then.Then I stumbled across a website rating whole wheat pastas. I am ashamed to admit I never thought there was a difference. All of the dried white pasta tasted the same to me, so I thought whole wheat would too. What can I say, I'm a small town gal whose only access to pasta is what I can find on the Prego aisle. So bolstered by the reviews and affordable pricing of this brand, I placed an order.So glad I did! This pasta is fantastic. The taste, the texture...oh so good. Others mention a nutty flavor, and there is a slight difference in taste, but what I love about it is the texture. I can twirl spaghetti on my plate again and not worry about half of the strands breaking off before it makes its way to my mouth. And there's no discomfort or nausea afterward. I'm never going back to white pasta again. Cleared out my shelves and donated unopened boxes of Barilla and Dreamfields to the food bank. Bionaturae is here to stay.

Best-tasting 100% whole wheat spaghetti by far
I had used other brands of 100% whole wheat pasta and was disappointed with their textures and tastes, not to mention how poorly spaghetti sauce adhered to some brands. Then I read a review of Bionaturae in Cook's Illustrated (America's Test Kitchen) which rated the major brands of whole wheat pasta and put Bionaturae as the best by far. The raters investigated why and found Bionaturae is made by a different process that no other pasta maker uses. I tried it and was delighted: lovely texture, delicious taste, and my pasta sauce adheres to the noodles! Bionaturae costs a bit more but is worth every penny. I have used it happily for years.

Awesome pasta
I buy the 6-pack of this pasta twice a year. All natural, whole wheat, perfect al dente when cooked, and ITALIAN! Try it!

good taste
if you have eaten whole wheat pasta you know the taste and texture varies a lot.This pasta was better 3 years ago then company changed recipe.however it is still the best and consistent whole wheat pasta we have consumed.I try others all the time but come back to this company.Enjoy

The best whole wheat pasta.
Actually my favorite whole wheat pasta is their capellini, but the spaghetti is excellent. I used to buy this at Fairway when I lived in NYC. Highly recommend.

Delicious!
I wish I had found this a while ago- I definitely would have made the complete switch to whole wheat pasta instead of only eating it with powerful sauces that covered up it's nastiness.Everything I didn't like about Barilla, 365, Ronzoni, De Cecco, and Hodgson's Mills is addressed in this.It makes smooth, wonderfully textured pasta that I can prefer to white pasta. It has a sweet nuttiness to it, much like how brown rice or whole wheat bread tastes a bit nutty but unlike some it doesn't overpower your sauce. You can still have this with a little olive oil and parmesan. You can still have this with fresh tomatoes. You don't have to drench it in super garlicy marinara just to palate it.For years, I preferred whole grains over processed grains in every case except for pasta- and now I can be entirely and happily whole grain!I still want to try Bella Terra to compare, but no matter what I try I now have a WW pasta for a pantry staple.

Surprisingly good!
I’ve been disappointed by whole wheat pasta many times, but this was highly reviewed in several places, including America’s Test Kitchen, so I decided to take a chance. Was really pleasantly surprised! The texture and flavor are great. It wasn’t gritty or overly chewy. If it weren’t for the color, I don’t think my husband (who was skeptical) would have noticed a difference. As I’m a newly diagnosed diabetic, this will be a much healthier option for me.

Made me eat whole wheat pasta for the first time!!!
I am going to start this out by saying I HATE (before trying this product) whole wheat pasta. I cannot stand to have a crunchy grainy texture to my pasta which before now I was unable to avoid with whole wheat pastas. I LOVE this stuff-it has a completely smooth texture that is the same as traditional white flour pasta and then a little bit of a unique tasta to it which I would describe as almost a little nutty or something but it is not very strong and adds flavor to your dishes. I had absolutely no problems with stickiness on my pan or the noodles sticking together too much-highly highly recommended. If you have been going nuts trying to find a whole wheat noodle that is edible this is it!! I absolutely am blown away that this is a ONE HUNDRED PERCENT whole wheat noodle and if you put it next to a traditional white flour noodle I would probably pick this one every time.
