45W LED Batten Lights 5FT, 150CM, 6000K Daylight, IP20 LED Fluorescent Strip Light Fitting for Ceiling of Home & Office, Workshop & Garage Lighting (Pack of 2)

I bought a 5ft version 3 weeks ago and was very happy with it very bright white light.Thought i would buy a second to go at the other side of my radio shed and also thought i would get one for our other shed and i found this twin pack and only looked at the pictures but the same lights i thought as the same pictures.How wrong was i the light from them is almost yellow not white at all and to cap it of the second one is bent with a slight crack.They might be ok in a shed but no good in the house.Very poor well no packaging at all just the 2 lights with 1 wrap of bobble wrap round them.The quality of the goods selling on amazon is going down hill very fast.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Do not buy these they are very dangerous fitted 2 of these to my garage the installation was very easy after installation and the first initial swith on 1 light illuminated and the other did not i heard a strange noise abit like a firework just being lit on the lighter fuse and then lot of smoke and sparks and then pop we removed the light and under inspection there is a strange brown fluid that has run down the plastic from wiring end of the light pls don't buy very dangerous thank god I was in the garage at the time I regularly leave the lights on so glad I was there it could has possibly set fire to my property aswell as my garage is attached to my house sort it out Amazon

I bought a pair of 5 ft. LED batten lights to replace two double 6 ft. fluorescent tubes in my garage, which were slow or very slow to light up. The old fittings were obsolete and even new tubes, which I already had, did not solve the problem. I was doubtful if the light output of the LED lights would be good enough but, after having got used to the whiter light rather than the warmer colour of the old tubes, these batten lights are excellent, with instant response to the flick of the switch.They do however loose one star for rather lightweight construction and mounting brackets, short length of cable and complete lack of a terminal box. This meant that a small junction box had to be used for each batten light, which is just about acceptable in a garage but not great for other locations.

Purchased LED lamp to replace 32w fluorescent in our kitchen. Did not realise it was a two pack (now I have one spare). No instructions inside for the un-initiated, not sure whether polarity is critical maybe I guessed correctly but it works. To affix to ceiling required the fitting of a connector, as the lamp fits flush there is not enough room to have one so I mounted the fitting on two distance pieces (about half inch thick as wide as the clips supplied) again this was quite successful. I does make a nice neat fitting on the kitchen ceiling and overall very happy with it.Now been fitted for 22 Months, one strip has failed so 40000 hours rating very ambitious, just fitted the 2nd unit supplied with the order so we shall se how long it lasts.

I ordered 4 of the large lights, and 4 of the smaller ones.2/4 of the large ones arrived with creases in the plastic where it seems they’d been bent.The packaging for the lights was just the lights, in boxes, taped together in twos. With a strip of “fragile” tape at the end.As the electrician was already over to fit, decided to go ahead with them anyway, only to find they were also completely dead.Tried starting the refund process, but unlike most things on Amazon it involves sending them back yourself, at your own expense (supposedly refunded if sellers fault) and calculating the correct postage. More hassle and time than the refund is even worth, especially after already folding up the boxes for the recycling.Other bad points to mention:The clips aren’t great, the other 2 lights have seemed to fall out of them a number of times.I seemed to end up with 9 clips for 4 of the large lights, so either gained an extra, or was missing 3.I also have 2 different types of the small ones, despite being the same order. One type with a very short cable, and the other with a longer cable and removable plastic cover over the led strip, rather than fixed design like the others.

Really nice bright white lights, which have made my double garage look bright and near to daylight.Really easy to install, both in terms of fitting and electrics.As said above, I have installed the 2 lights in a good size double garage and it has provided a good level of illumination.Really good value for money and well worth going for LED over fluorescent tubes.

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled with this product. I needed to replace two old (12 years +) twin fluorescent fittings in the garage prompted by one failing to illuminate anymore. I was going to replace the starter but considered the more economical LED route instead and after some searching decided to give these a try and WOW!They are easy to fit, lightweight and very slim and the garage is now bathed in brilliant white daylight instead of, I now realise, a rather dim yellowish glow. The only downside now is that I can really see how much clutter is in there so that’s created another long overdue job. 🙄Delivery time was excellent and the packaging was minimal but sufficient (just the pair of printed cardboard cartons taped together with enclosed fixtures, fittings and instructions) which in my opinion is also a plus.Early days yet so I can’t say how long they’re going to last but if they perform for the stated amount of hours then an absolute bargain and no brainer at 20 quid each.

Sold in pairs, so I fitted two pairs to the ceiling of my double garage and wow! Daylight brightness in there now. Instant light, no more starter motor like old fluorescent tubes never knowing if they would start or not.Have already fitted another pair to my workshop with same superb results and now ordering some more for my other single garage and Office. Thoroughly recommended.
