Sound wonderful and have lasted many years!!
Got these many years ago but did not rate them - They sound wonderful still and have been hanging outside year round through all kinds of weather without any issues.

Beautiful chimes!
These chimes look and sound beautiful. I purchased them as a gift for my mom and loved them so much I purchased another for myself. I love the sound of church bells and these are just as good. They hang right outside my bedroom window and are so peaceful to listen to. They are very good quality and look like they will last a lifetime. I leave them hanging outside all year with no protection and they are holding up perfectly after about 10 months. I do bring them inside during bad windstorms both because I don't want them to get damaged and because they can be quite loud in high winds.

Breathtaking
These are so lovely. First they came in a HUUUUGE box, which was a great surprise for my Mum. They are really long, and once unpacked, delightful. They sound like London on a sunday morning. They sound so AMAZINGLY like the Westminster bells ringing....they made my Mum Cry. They are just lovely, and this is a great price on these. I have the larger (and much more expensive) Windsinger Chimes of Orpheus, which also sound fabulous. But, the Windsingers take a lot more wind to chime, and these Westminster chimes ring much more often. The nicest set of chimes we have, no question about it, and we've got 7 sets of Woodstocks hanging around the house.

I bought these wind chimes 10 years ago and they still sound wonderful
Wow its been 10 years already! They still hang in the same tree on the garden path. These chimes ring for a really long time when they're struck. I've never had to replace any of the durable cord or grommets. What I like to do sometimes, is take a paper plate and make a cut from the edge to center, and make a giant wind catcher.I tell you something else... I paid over ten dollars more for it 10 years ago! I may have to consider buying me another one with a different sound. Maybe some of those big bass gongs. Make a nice sound garden...

The only problem they had was that after several years the string was getting thin in places my dad replaced with a different ki
I bought the Woodstock Westminster chimes for myself, I had given these chimes(I had bought them elsewhere) and my mother said that they sound the same as they did when I gave the Woodstock Westminster chimes to her over 10-15 years ago, The only problem they had was that after several years the string was getting thin in places my dad replaced with a different kind of string(I'm not sure what kind) My father passed away 3 years ago and my mom sees no wear and tear on the string The chimes themselves sound and look as beautiful as when she received them. They remind me so much of home that I finally bought mine.

Excellent chimes,great quality.
This chime sounds wonderful. It is reminiscent of old church bells. Nice and robust, with perfect tones. I would recommend muting them on very windy days, or else they sound like empty sewer pipes bouncing down a hill. I used the cord connected to the wooden tail weight with a half hitch to mute the chimes. If they are far enough from your home there will be no need to quiet them, they tend to be loud if the wind is blowing hard. I would highly recommend Woodstock chimes, they are great quality chimes that are very affordable.

Expensive, but a pleasure to own
My husband and I have owned various artsy wind chimes, but none of them seemed to do all that much chiming. We were looking for a wind chime that would create a truly beautiful sound. I went to the woodstock chimes website (woodstockpercussion dot com) after discovering that their chimes had the best reviews on Amazon. You can listen to all their chimes online. Anyway, I listened to a lot of chimes, and liked this one the best. What sets it apart from the other chimes is that the tone is much lower / deeper. We have the chimes hanging from a tree in our backyard, and it's a real pleasure to listen to them, either while outside or or even faintly when inside. The sound is noticeable but so loud as to be annoying, even on a breezy day when you're near the chime.

Pretty good.
It’s not quite as deep toned as I was expecting. It still has some high sounds that’s bother my ears a little if I am outside when it is windy. It sounds great from inside the house. Overall I really like this set of chimes.
