I have had a couple of glass versions break and was after something that will last. This is the ideal upgrade to a glass caffetiere.Size wise it fills two standard mugs so don't be thinking this thing is huge, it isn't.I feel that it is a high quality item, solid and robust that will last a long time and is well worth the money. Easy to take apart to clean and looks smart enough to leave out next to the kettle.The double wall feature isn't exactly insulation but does keep the coffee temperature warm for longer than a glass one, easily enough to finish the first coffee without it being cold.

Excellent product, does the job well. Only had it a couple of weeks, but it appears to be very hardwearing.Good price too.Only downside was Evri managing to rip the outer box, luckily the inner box and the cafetiere were not damaged.

It is a great cafetiere, compared to my old glass one as this filters much better and you don't end up with the coffee grinds in your cup and the ground coffee i tried in it was (Taylors Christmas Blend).Pros:It's insulated.Double walledCons:there is none, i gave it a 4 star because my coffee bag spoon that accompanied the French press arrived damaged.

I'm so happy with this purchase! After my glass cafetiere cracked, I decided to look at something a little more robust. And that led me to consider the stainless steel options over the more typical glass. So pleased I did! Being double walled, it keeps the coffee hotter for longer, but this VonShef 6-cup is also such a nifty, ergonomic design, it feels really lovely to use. The handle is perfect and I also love that the plunger top has an open and closed design, meaning after you've poured, you can twist the opening closed, also helping to keep the coffee hotter for longer. And this is the perfect size for me - gives me two large mugs' worth for starting my day. The only very slight niggle - and this is me being super picky! - is that the metal on metal as you press down the plunger can make your teeth zing a little! But it is very slight and nothing that would put me off using it. I hope its longevity is as good as the initial impressions. It certainly seems incredibly well designed and made, so I have high hopes. Also comes with a stainless steel measuring spoon that doubles as a bag clip. Love, love, love it!

I love it - sturdy but looks professional, a great replacement for my glass one that cracked one day suddenly. this is strong and feels sturdy, and keeps to coffee warmer for longer than my glass one. I brought the 6 cup version, which is large enough for 2 mugs worth of coffee.

I really like this little cafetière as I drink decaffeinated and it’s ideal just for one decent mug of coffee. The cafetière is stylish, easy to clean and came with its own spoon so as you know how much coffee to add. It also clips onto the handle of the pot. I’m well pleased with my purchase.

Arrived today so haven't tried it's cafetière capabilities yet. It did arrive with a scratch on the lid and a dent on the edge of the base but decided it wasn't worth returning, as they are pretty small and not very noticeable.Apart from that looks stylish and reasonably sturdy.

Good quality for the price. While I would prefer a larger size this was the largest I could find for this type and cost.Does what it should and should hopefully last a long time
