I take care of a close friend of mine who has an order Mercedes SUV. Local dealers or service centers all want to rip her off each time she needs the smallest jobs done. One issue that had been intermittent for the last couple of years was that the car would sometimes idle roughly at stop signs, etc. Since it was intermittent, I wasn't quite sure what was causing it. It very seldom showed up when I was looking at the vehicle. I had replaced the spark plugs, the mass air flow meter, crankshaft sensor, and camshaft sensor. The last three items were replaced because of other symptoms and those symptoms were resolved. One day she was at my house with the engine running and I heard it start to skip. As we talked about it it stopped skipping. I could not believe I had not thought about this sooner, but I told her I thought we needed to replace the coil packs. I ordered this set primarily because it was a decent price and included new wires as well. Never ordered the cheapest electrical components from Amazon for your car because oftentimes they will be defective. This was more middle range in price, but still far cheaper than we could have purchased it locally. Not only did this resolve her rough idol issue, the vehicle now runs so much stronger than it has in several years. She is very happy with the results and so am I. I will say one thing, the wires tend to slowly slip loose from the coil pack themselves. This happened a couple of times and I finally used some thread lock product to make the rubber boots stick in place on the coil packs. After I did that she has had no more issues

I bought this product for my 1998 Mercedes Benz E320. The coils were an exact match. The wires were a match, but a modification was required that was not mentioned. The end that plugs onto the spark plug did not immediately fit onto the spark plug. The end of the wire boot has an additional amount of metal attached to the boot that I had to shave off before it would fit into the spark plug hole and onto the spark plug. I ended up installing them all, then noticed that they did not go in all the way. I pulled them out one by one and had to shave the extra piece of metal with a file. Once I did that they fit just fine and worked like a charm. Having to do the job twice was a major inconvenience, but a good product and great saving otherwise since this kit was $99 bucks and Auto zone has each individual coil for $75 bucks a piece plus the wires at an additional price.

When this box arrived, I knew right away it was quality due to its weight. These are quality American made electric components. I have 185K on my E320, and I was having a misfire. I replaced all my spark plugs with Bosch OEM, and still had a misfire. I then replaced the Coil packs with these, and what a difference! The engine runs so smoother than ever. Please buy these they are worth the money! I will say you will need patience to get the boots to seat over the spark plugs, but I did it just fine. I recommend Mag-Mate 45 degree spark plug pliers to help seat them. Very happy with this product.

The coil packs work fine. The accompanying plug wires were way to long. It was touching the body and the motor causing random missfiring. I tried to shorten but the caps would not go back on
