I had my doubts but it actually worked pretty well. So to get it to work the way I wanted it to was to back off the beveled blade. Im sure you can fine tune the adjustment on the beveled blade but i loosened it and backed it off all the way. You're able to use the trimmer as a 2 sided trimmer or 1 sided if you pull it apart in 2. I opted for the 1 sided and got perfect results on some cabinets I built. I found I had to tilt the unit slightly to get the perfect amount trimmed. Worth the purchase for me. People that complain about it probably have to clue what they're doing. Been woodworking for years, it does the job just fine.

Did not cut edges of shelf bandind smooth at all. My utility knife did a much better cut than this did. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

A piece of junk.I recommend spending the extra $$ and go with "FastCap Quad Trimmer". I struggled with this one which mangled my workpieces regardless of the blade adjustment capability and technique. I ordered the "FastCap" and used it with perfect results right out of the box.

Not a bad tool or design overall, but takes multiple passes to get a flush cut. I typically use a flat razor blade, and was really hoping this would make the job easier, but it didn’t. After several passes i still found myself doing cleanup with my razor

I agree with the most of the one star reviews. Tore the edge banding, wasn't straight, complete waste of money.

I bought this as a replacement for my old Virutex trimmer, which had gotten dull. It turns out that this Chinese knock off is in fact better than the original product. I am getting excellent results every time, and highly recommend this product.

Did a nice jib

this product did not trim the wood edging where it was supposed to . It took off some of that and some of the top coat that is supposed to remain. Brand new from the box but the blades did not seem sharp enough to do the job.
