Second time is a charm
After they sent the wrong one the first time, I took a chance and had them send another one. This time it was right. Very easy to install. I did have to make a change on my Pneumatic door opener. It would not work with it in place. No big problem. I just removed it and will use a bungy cord to hold it open when we are camping. It looks great and the stairs are very stable. No more bounce. The size was excellent . The chart was right.

No Issues!
Needed to replace my existing 2 step due to having bigger tires. The 3 step fit great. Unscrewed old set, screwed new set in and adjusted the latch. Good to go. No issues with packaging or missing parts. Make sure you know what size to order before you buy the wrong size.

Excellent addition to your RV! So much nicer than the flimsy stairs that come standard.
While this may seem like a luxury addition to some, these stairs are ESSENTIAL. The wide base and deep steps are so much easier to go up and down. My mother in law uses a cane to walk, and this extra space allows even her easy access. You feel much safer on these, highly recommend.

Slippery RV steps used set issues
I’ve only written a few reviews, so here’s one because of several issues. I bought used, $10 lower price 3 days later 🤷🏻♂️Missing adjustable leg hole clips (important parts!)Bent sliding leg bracket.Got to cut out part of door threshold so plate will recess down to allow door to shut properly with stairs a deployed. It also needs better packaging as said by others. Very sturdy & a safer option versusthe crappy factory steps. I installed these on a2014 Puma 19rl travel trailer

Terrible experience! Disappointing on many levels. What you need to know.
To start. Reviews mostly say what you’re getting into. Wish I’d read them first. You need at the very minimum 3/8-inch clearance from existing door bottom to top of threshold. Most trailer doors/frames are installed as a one piece unit and have minimal clearance in design. The door seals itself on the outer edges of its own frame. When this unit is extended “over” your existing threshold you most likely will lose clearance not only on the screen/door bottoms but how it seals itself on the bottom outer edge as well. Making it difficult opening/closing. Modifications such as grinding down your existing threshold should be anticipated if not expected and potentially beating this steal unit down with an 8lbs sledge hammer to make it work, mostly. This will only correct clearances from threshold to door bottom not the bottom outer sealing edge. The addition of the step protrudes past the sealing edge 3/16-1/4 inch. Many hacks exist to cover up this issue. I won’t recommend any or tell you which one I used. I had to work on the steps before I could install them. For the rest of the needless pain in the a** story, read on.Delivered to wrong address. Neighbor actually brought it over and apologized for the horribly damaged box saying; “Looks like UPS just threw it out the door at 30 miles an hour”, handing me a few bolts that fell out of one of the many hole, rips and tears in the box. BOTH steps I’ve ordered arrived in the similar condition, first one at least had most of mounting bolts, nuts, washers and installation directions scattered in what was remaining of the bottom of the box. Advertised as 26 inch wide, reality was 22, returned. The reported UPS drive/by/toss and tumble box had nothing but a badly damaged 30 inch step, reality 26-3/4”. Extending support legs both bent in place nonfunctioning including the aluminum extensions had minor damage. Interior mounting bracket, hinge and threshold transition had 3/8 – 1/2 inch bow with paint damage on both outer edges of the threshold transition. UPS drive/by/toss and tumble theory having more reality. No hardware. No Direction. Not surprising, there was hardly any box. No advertisement or installation video I viewed had anything to say if you could actually close your door or not. It would have been nice to have read/heard “You may, might or will have to modify your door frame” somewhere at least once. I’d give this product 400 stars if it was not for this minor deception. I know doors, knew I’d be making modifications to threshold and potentially door bottom. Didn’t know I’d be straitening this chuck of 10 gauge steal. I’ve imagine UPS drone air delivery drop glancing off a few trees tumbling into my neighbor’s driveway… maybe… Good luck they are easy to install. Modification are not bad if you’re prepared. Careful of hacks, they have consequences. Nice addition if not for the sledge hammer marks.
