A good book to have if you want to upgrade your AR15.

Basic Bish
Production value is high, great color spreads. Covers very basic stuff and isn't really a help if you run into any problems. Features a lot of Real Avid tools, of course, so it's really a catalog for that company. I do like Real Avid products though and now own a lot of them. The book itself feels great in the hand, is easy to turn and the print is bright and easy to read. When new, the pages are sticky so you have to be careful; fine afterwards. Good to have as a basic reference.

Title is very decieving! Don't be fooled!
The title of this book is very deceiving! They make it sound like ways of "modifying" the rifle in ways the government wouldn't want you to know is possible... but in reality, there is no "modifications" in this book at all. It is just merely a beginners guide for swapping/upgrading parts. Half the stuff they mention is so basic, that you shouldn't even own an AR15 if you don't already know how to do them. The book is great quality, but had I known the actual contents of this book, I most definitely would not have bought it.
