Great for the price!!
Gets very hot and gets job done faster. A little heavier than I expected, but works well. Due to how hot it gets you definitely need a safe heat resistant place to set it on.

Nice iron
Does anyone know if other tip styles are available for it?

Professional results without commercial speed.
Did custom seamless steel gutters on own house. About 10 min. need to reach 700 plus F. Temperature stay pretty constant. Soldering easy with that temperature. Only downside is fast oxidizing copper. Sal Ammoniac block is a must to do job. Rod have 1" W, 3/4" diameter. At this price point nothing can beat this product.

Worked great lasted one day...
Came had a dent in the metal housing and the ceramic was broke a bit toward the end. I gave it a shot and it worked great all day. I was able to solder alot of galvanized sheet metal but by the end of the day it just quit on me. I contacted Amazon and they said I had to get a refund from the seller as their third party. I want a replacement instead of a refund but apparently thats not possible smh.

No heat control and too hot for good soldering of copper gutters
Large heavy and durable for the cost. No heat control and too hot for good soldering of copper gutters.

This iron works great as I use it to solder jumper wires to G gauge train track. It melts the solder and heats the track real fast..JimI

Great for larger projects.
A heavy iron, awkward to hold and heats up a bit slow but boy does it solder after it gets hot. Great for larger projects. Wish I had one years ago.
