A lot of little details
The only problem was the side walls weren't mirrored. Once assembled, inside, the left side was the light tan of the wood and the right side was white. Not too noticeable. You do have to cut several sheets of details, for books, floors, outside walls, etc. It was pretty easy, just time consuming.I did stray from decorating a little bit. I enjoyed this project.

So cute!!
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this mini book store. I changed it up a little with my own additions ( outside wall prints, paint and polymerclay flowers) It is my 2nd miniature kit and it was a great learning experience. My only complaint/observation is..if you glue the last part on, how do you change the battery??I think I'll find some hinges so it can be opened and closed.

Great pastime project!
This doll house is very cute! It’s my first time ever looking into miniatures as this was a gift for my niece, and even she didn’t know what all went into this kit. Upon first opening the box and instructions it seems VERY intimidating since there are hardly many words (it’s just enough to get the point though). Once we started building, it was pretty easy to get the hang of. I only encountered a few issues with this kit which includes: some wood pieces cut either too small or too big (not many though), some pieces being in the wrong labeled bags (was bit more difficult since the pictures in the instructions aren’t the clearest), and the wiring for the lights not actually working and not having good instructions for first timers. The biggest bummer was the lights which I couldn’t get to work AT ALL and I actually looked up multiple videos, changed the wiring around, fresh batteries and NOTHING worked. Otherwise I really enjoyed this project and I ended up ordering another for myself since I suffer with anxiety and this really keeps my mind from wandering too much. Once I’m done, I plan on regifting the final result or donating it for others to enjoy!

I love it so much. So much. Worth every once of effort and tears.
This took about two weeks, I had to order a second one, missing pieces, and wait for glue to arrive. It’s SOOO worth it though. I think I cried at least twice during the process and it’s still worth it. I did not add either set of stairs, on the bottom floor they took up too much space and I just didn’t want to add the second floor ones. I put the piano and a few other things where the stairs would have been and you can’t look at the back because the wires are crazy but it was sooo worth it! Look at those tiny apples and the tiny butcher knife! The bubbles in the bath!!! Omg. You’ll hate yourself while doing it but love it when you finish!

Laughably Bad
It's not often I am totally disappointed in a purchase on Amazon, I accept that sometimes if I spend less for a product it will reflect in the quality. However this product was just so bad.1) I was missing an entire bag of materials, just not in the box, this was brand new sealed so it's definitely a manufacturer issue quality control needs to be vastly improved as I've seen multiple reviews talking about this issue.2) Cheap materials, as I said I'm not expecting super high quality from a product that costs less than 30 dollars but most of the plant pieces were something I could surpass in quality at the dollar store one piece was already partially losing pieces before I even began to construct anything with it, so I fully expect if you tried it would continue to shed and break off. The scissors were the cheapest pair I have ever seen, they looked like they'd never cut through paper and would break in any attempt to. The templetes were just pieces of paper like a flyer you'd get in the mail. They also are not preforated so you'd have to cut all pieces by hand, with the afore mentioned scissors. In fact the floral paper requires you to create your own pieces something I was not expecting from a kit.3) it does not come with glue, or batteries for the light. For 30 dollars they could put some glue in it. I have built other kits that are illuminated it's rare that they don't provide the battery. Especially when it's a coin style battery and not something more typical like a AA or AAA. I order from Amazon to avoid making another trip to the store to buy supplies that should be included!Save yourself the hassle of return and disappointment and skip this product.

Pretty good - but I broke it.
I have done a number of book nook kits and this is the first I have done with a plastic cover incorporated. I loved putting this together, all the different flowers/plants and details, really great. When I got the plastic cover, it just didn't work well - probably user error/inexperience. I was able to put it together and it fit, but then putting the black edging was really difficult and i ended up breaking the plastic and a couple of the wood lattices. I ended up taking off the broken pieces and adjusted to just not have the cover. Still looks good,.
