COMMON BABY LIGHT MY FIRE!
My fireplace has been intermittently working for the last couple years. I didn't use it all summer long and when I tried to use it to get warm, it refused to light. I checked everything and couldn't get the pilot light to come back on and there was no manual pilot ignition on my fireplace.I bought this control module in the hopes that it was just something this simple... sure enough, it was. I was able to swap over the units 1 wire at a time and as soon as I was done, the fireplace came back to life. Saved me a $200 service call and waiting more than 2 months for the local shop to get to me.!

Cost savings
I was quoted 300 dollars to replace this controller for my gas fireplace from a repair service. I found the same exact controller on Amazon for under 50 dollars and replaced it myself in less than 5 minutes, only 2 push on wires and a snap on wiring harness
