It does what it says.
This works for marking your cake for even cutting.One side works for marking for 10 slices, the other side works for marking for 12 slices.We do use it anytime we have cake or cheesecake.

Where has this been all of my life?? Makes large cake cutting a breeze. Be sure to just press lightly to get the imprint. Pressed a little too hard and it pulled up all of the frosting. Remember, it shows you WHERE to cut ~ it’s not a cutter itself!! Love it!

Cake cutter/divider
I love the fact it has multiple sizes. However, I tried to use on a cake and it wouldn't cut thru. Not sure if it was the cake or the product. Have not tried it again. I bought for a one time event at work. I would spend the money for a stainless steel cutter.

* it did not cut neatly or evenly.* I didn’t realize that when it said it could cut 10-12 slices that there would not be a way to determine which amount of slices I wanted, so it cuts in 12, but some pieces were extremely small and others regular sized.
