the set arrived in 5 boxes and was very well packaged. I looks just like the pictures, and looks lovely in our dining room. The butterfly leaf is awesome, it folds in place under the table when not used, and snaps secure the table shut. The finish, the color, the quality of the build all look excellent. The assembly was not hard, wife and I did the whole set in about an hour, our only complaint is the simplified instructions left a few things out. Mainly they didn't mention that there are TWO bolts to secure each chair leg, and it wasn't until we got to the end of the chairs and we saw all the extra bolts that we realized there were two for each leg, not one as pictured in the instructions. Also they failed to mention thatyou need to spread open up the table to expose the butterfly leaf and remove all the packaging materials before attaching the table to the pedestals.Anyway, with the large bolts and the support hoop to reinforce the chair legs (usally the first place a chair will fail), it looks like it will last, but only time will tell. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with this set.

Reasonable and sturdy, but I would have liked the chair seats to be slightly larger

I bought this dining table set from East West Furniture. This item looks good in shape and shiny too. However, I received damaged part (broken peace) and could not get a replacement either. Ended up keeping damages item after paying full price. Be aware of buying furniture from third party sellers.

Dining room set is beautiful and solid wood easily installed, but the shipping was not in order so don’t expect delivery to be delivered on the date that Amazon gives you they shipped every piece every 2-3 days it was a little frustrating, but I finally got my order in. Minus the last two chairs that were delivered were the wrong type of chairs. You have to be on top of the seller!!! But Amazon customer service is great they responded quickly!

The table set arrived when promised, was packaged incredibly well with no damage and no missing parts. The set is sturdy and much better quality than expected. The only “issue” I found and it is barely noticeable is a small sliver of bare wood is noticeable at the rear of the seat where the cushion meets the ring of wood it sits on. Additional update. Three kids, two dogs, and four cats made it very evident very quickly that the table surface was fairly easy to get scratched and gouged. I put a few coats of spray on satin Minwax polyurethane to try to minimalize damage and add some hardness to the surface.

Once assembled, all items appear to be sturdy. (For now)Packaging was very good and protected all parts in shipping.Finish/stain is consistent and all areas are covered.DislikesSome misalignment of key features and very small access areas (too small for adult hands, reqd pinky finger pinch grips to install washers etc) made assy very difficult below table top. Metal rails beneath top have very sharp corners with risk to toddlers; need to file corners , edges smooth, etc.Large table top gaps of butterfly leaf seams are large and unsightly. Not all gaps are parallel to adjacent edges due to some factory misalignment fit and finish.Chairs were difficult to finalize assembly as they kept going out of square as they were carefully tightened. ( Seat panel to back assy, and forward legs) fastener design should be re- engineered as chairs kept rocking unevenly on floor until exhaustive fidgeting and re-loosened- tightened to get them level.Overall, still an average value for the price point. The upcoming months of use will demonstrate overall stability and rigidity.

Love it! Had some problems putting the seats on the chairs, but other than that everything looks great. The instructions for the table and base are in the biggest box with the table, and I didn't see it until I put the base together, but it was simple enough to look at and put together without instructions. Each chair set (each box contains 2 chairs) has its own allen wrench, so if you misplace one, you will always have backup. Be sure to have a good screwdriver for this task.

The product was delivered by expected date. The look and shape of the dining table is very good. The instructions to assemble the parts is very good and easy. It is not expensive as well.My only disappointment is with one of the chairs which cracked while screwing the screw labeled as M4x40mm or screw 5 to the one of the rear legs of the chair. This chair obviously is unusable as it is wabbly (not sturdy) raising the question as to the quality of the material used to produced the entire set. In other words, this makes me think that the quality of the material used for the table questionable, not what says it is. Time will tell how long the table will last now with only 5 instead of 6 chairs. Generously, this is why I gave it a 4-star instead of 5.
