Nice quality welding steel. Had a few annoying stickers that took a while to get off (wish they’d make them so they peel off easily), but that’s a minor nuisance.

I used this as a drainage pipe going under my enclosure. I enclosed an area 18’x10’ on my concrete patio, underneath the same area above (my gym on the second level). The patio had a drain hole, but it was 40” from the perimeter of my new enclosure, so I calculated that a 2”x1” pipe would allow enough flow into the drain. The floor inside the enclosure is made up of interconnecting 2’x2’x1” rubber gym mats, so the 1” high tube is perfect and not noticeable for the floor’s continuity. Cutting the length and finding the right adhesive and sealant was no problem, just note concrete always requires a primer for almost everything else to bond to.

Ordered the 1x2 steel pieces although I did view another customer's video on an issue with his order. I know no company is going to be perfect, so as long as they make right what at times goes wrong, then things should be okay. If you need a product to meet expectations exactly it might be better to confirm in person or ask ahead of time so that expectations are met. This is the case here. I didn't ask any questions but then I was not expecting a perfect product (at the end of the day it is just a piece of steel I will be welding and not surgical equipment).The 48" product is 1/8" short of that number so if you are expecting that value exactly then you will want to confirm it. I don't recall if there is a disclaimer within the add to indicate that there is a +/- 1/8" tolerance for these pieces (most of the time there is). If so, then that is my fault which I expect to be the case. And I have confirmed that the product is not listed as exactly 48" long.The part that is of the most concern is the dent at the end of each piece that leaves a very noticeable dimple in one side on the very edge (another user reported the same thing). At the cost of this product I am okay with it as I expect to be able to lose that area to trimming as I don't need the entire 48" for my needs. However, if you need the full 48 for your project then you might get the same thing. I'm pretty sure it can be bent back into shape with a few minutes work, but if you aren't expecting those dents then you might get surprised. Both pieces have the same dent in the same spot. Not sure if it is a problem with the cutting tool or if these are cut on purpose across another defect so these can be sold this way as smaller pieces to salvage the metal.Given the cost of steel locally to me I still would not hesitate to order a few more pieces when they are needed. Just wanted to share my 1st experience ordering this product. Was not shipping damage as the two tubes came individually wrapped well in bubble wrap inside a cardboard box. No other dents or issues with the tubes at all. This is why a 4 star instead of 5.

I needed some 1x2 steel to cut and raise my Blackstone since I removed it from the cart and have it freestanding in a bbq island. This steel was perfect, arrive in 1 day, no dents or issues with the packaging and worked out perfectly. Cut using a steel recip blade, painted and installed. Made a potential time wasting project simple and now we’re enjoying the Blackstone!

I used a length of this piece to repair a rusted section of the golf cart frame I am rebuilding. The hardest part was cutting/grinding out the old piece. Once sized to the repair, this was a perfect fit and welded nicely.
