We got these to hang up a heavy blanket for a temporary room divider. These held it perfectly, they have a very firm grip. If I had any complaints, the little orange feet aren't really held in place the best. 3 came off and 1 wouldn't go back on (they should just slide back in place and are held by a ball and socket style design), it doesn't affect what we used it for in any way but I figured I would mention it. For reference, we bought the SUNALLY Room Divider (3 tension poles and a crossbar/curtain rod style hanger system). They work really well together, however, Amazon will not allow reviews on that item right now.

These would be wonderful if the orange pads cooperated.I have yet to use these where I didn't lose a pad, or have it pop off at least once. It happens putting them on something, and taking them off. The cause is either the black plastic holding it on is too thin, or the soft plastic the pad is made out of is too flexible.Either way, while they work, the tendency for the protective pads to make often successful and occasionally permanent breaks for freedom makes them awkward, if not frustrating, to use.If you're keen to make a project just a little bit harder to do, these are awesome at tweaking the old blood pressure up another 10 mm/Hg. OTOH, if you're trying to avoid life-altering, adverse cerebral vascular events strokes, and are willing to spend a bit more for something that won't bring those on with every use, you might want to find something better.
