This is the perfect tape to adhere my four jute rugs to my tile floor to prevent slip and fall accidents. You will need scissors to cut this tape as it’s too tough to tear. Does leave a bit of residue behind on scissors but easy enough to clean with GooGone. I would recommend doing sections of the rug at a time - stick it down where you want it then continue on. This product is super sticky and it’s much easier to manage your rug this way if want to get that perfect alignment. It’s been two months since I used it on my rugs and so far it has held up perfectly. I highly recommend it.

My opinion after trying this tape for the first time:Pros1. Effective at holding throw rugs in place2. Compatible with robot vacuums (the vacuum has no problem going over the throw rugs now)3. Sticks well to material edging of throw rugs4. Peels off easily from vinyl flooring without leaving residueCons1. Does not adhere well to rubber backing, but it will stick to the material edging if the throw rug has one2. Can be challenging to cutMy Tips1. Apply the tape to the rug first, then place it in the desired position and then peel off the floor-side backing.2. To make cutting with scissors easier, coat the blades with a small amount of oil. (I used Pam cooking spray)Overall AssessmentOverall, I really like this tape. It effectively holds down rugs and cuts easily with scissors that have a small amount of oil on the blades.

This works a little too well....This will work on making sure your carpet sticks and doesn't move or shift. Now with that being said.. it is so hard to take off. I had this stuff on my carpet for like 2 years and it never budged and I was very impressed and pleased. When I had to move is when I had a panic attack because this would not come off. I had to wrestle my rug in order to get it off the floor. Then when I did there was still strips of this on my tile! I had to scrape it off carefully to not damage my tile.I would still use it but I would use way less that before because it works that well! Also it doesn't get old so this will last you! I highly recommend.

Easy to use two sided tape. Great for rugs and carpets that curl up. Keeps throws in one place. Strong adhesive could pull up pain or leave residue.

Would my dog has the zoomies every area rug would totally displaced. Now that doesn’t happen anymore. Simply cut and under the rug. Great grip.

I used it to hold a small 3' x 5' rug in place on a tile floor. I only used it on 2 corners of the rug and in combination with the one sided rug grip I had, it did the trick! Like some have said, it doesn't take much for this type of application.

I applied this to the underside of a round carpet under our dining table. I had to cut quite a few 5-6 inches pieces to cover the entire perimeter of the rug. Application of the tape is easy and it holds the rug nicely. My only complaint is that the sticky stuff transfers to the scissors and makes it progressively difficult to get a clean cut afetr a while. Had to use goo gone halfway through and once more at the end to clean up the scissors. Something to keep in mind if you're in my situation trying to stick this to a round rug.
