I did a lot of research on Chinese paints before I selected these. I wanted to start my Chinese brush painting class with affordable, but good paints. After making the decision, purchasing them and going to my first class I was delighted to see my teacher used the same paints! Not only that, but I have found the quality seems superior to other paints being used in my class. They dilute well and I seem to be having an easier time making the right shades than others. I highly recommend these!

Perfect! Just what I need for my one stroke Chinese art work. The quality is excellent. I know these paints will last a long time too which is great since I recently bought 200 foot roll of rice paper. Love the colours as well. The consistency is better than I'd hoped for. Would recommend these to anyone interested in one stroke Chinese art work, or even watercolour work. Using black Indian ink for the main theme in my work with the pop of colour I know these are going a long way with all the rice paper I have. I'll even be using them with some of my watercolour paper and see what comes of that as I love the consistency. The delivery time was excellent as well. These paints are everything I hoped they would be! Very easy to work with and amazing color payoff! I only had two tubes out of the 36 that had separated a bit inside but I just stirred it back together and it was perfect!I especially liked that the seller put in a sticker on the inside of the box that gave name translations into English for all the colors with their product numbers!

planned on using for watercolor painting. am confused. the first time squeezed tube, a liquid came out before the paint, looking like what happens when working with a new oil tube. light brown almost clear shiny liquid.surprised meam going to use it on practice paper and let sit a day to see resultsotherwisevery nice size tube of paint with typical way of piercing. top did not stick shut like many other watercolor tubes. using on light beige watercolor paper.next day: covers well. i seem to have a better control over how/if spreads with water mixed in- better consistency paint i thinkall writing is foreign tubes come in a box. i would buy again even though foreign. Arrived when expected, packed well
