The media could not be loaded. The paint seems to be of good quality. The color is vibrant and rich, appearing different under various lighting conditions. I love the beautiful antique gold vibe it gives off in sunlight. It takes on a nice dark brass tone in lower light settings.I love how versatile this paint is—it can be used on different surfaces, including canvas, wood, ceramic, and even plastic. The coverage is good and fairly opaque. Depending on what you're painting, it may require 2-3 layers, assuming you apply it thinly—which I recommend (see video). I applied two thin layers to the ceramic (in photos and video) and three to the plastic base of the humidifier.The paint applies smoothly but has some texture, which adds authenticity. It dried very quickly between layers. I forgot to time it exactly, but I was able to handle the final product in less than an hour, I think.I can't speak to its durability yet, but I'll try to update if I notice any cracking, flaking, or discoloration over time. I didn’t use any primer or sealant on these projects.

I’m very happy with this paint. I usually use Windsor Newton or liquitex so that’s where my standards lie. I used this to paint the frame edges of wood and canvas panels and it looks great. It’s a nice thickness and very smooth. Great color too. Would buy again.

Brushed and rolled it onto my radiator to really make it stand out in the steampunk bedroom. Also used it on the video projector to make it blend in.

I LOVE THIS PAINT!!!!! I wanted to update my 90’s shiny brass chandelier. Still liked the style but not the color. Was looking for a satin finished antique brass paint. I tried many paints from the craft stores and was not satisfied. Tried this paint in BRASS and it is PERFECT! Covered in one coat, although I can see where you might want to use two coats. Now I can’t stop looking at my “new” updated chandelier and matching sconces!!!! The finish is a perfect satin, antique brass- just what I was looking for. I also did my tea cart and it looks great! This paint costs alittle more, but it is well worth it!!!!!!!

10/10 recommend for any DIY projects in the home where you want a brass touch. It stays on (used on wood mostly and some metal- hasn’t come off yet). The color is exactly what it looks like online and a little goes a long way which I appreciated. I used this to make my fireplace pop and to add brass accents to my speakeasy space. Very happy with this purchase

I ordered the brass color to paint non-brass pieces of a lamp that has real brass parts I wanted to match. The color is a little darker than real polished brass and due to the satin sheen, it doesn’t pass as real brass at all. I am going to put a clear gloss over it and I think it will look closer to real brass, but it will still look like painted metal instead of a natural finish. Kind of disappointing but it does look better than spray paint.

These are great paints. Modern Masters make quality products that apply easily. Most metal paints apply unevenly and the elements separate but that is not the case with these. Several coats are helpful but the paint is smooth and uniformly colored. Rinses off the brush with water.
