Thorough. Great for fourth grade and up to adults. I think I will get something out of it
The media could not be loaded. Great book. Captivating. Breaks down stories into understandable bite size pieces. I wish I had this when I was young. I am glad I have it now. I can’t wait to dig in myself. Great for fourth grade and up to adult. Great artist with bright bold colors. Has a prayer after each story. It is very thorough. It has a bit of theology in there. Great for discussion. Even though this is great for kids who know how to read it would be wonderful to read it with them. Create a bit of family devotion time to understand the Bible.

We have read this so many times through with our daughter already. Every night before bed we read one story and i love the corresponding prayer at the end of each one. She is 2 and the stories and pictures keep her attention. Unlike other Bible storybooks, this includes a LOT more stories and books /sections of the Bible (not just David and Goliath, and Daniel and the lions den). It has stories from Acts and Revalation in it. It is beautifully and intentionally thought out and designed to teach children through the Bible, and about God. The storyline is carried throughout, showing them the design of this world, the Bible, and our creator. I gifted this book last Christmas to all my sisters with kids.

Great children’s Bible stories for devotions
We love this storybook. We gift it to many friends when they have children. It’s beautiful, has short, manageable chapters and prayers, and is biblically faithful and precise in its stories. I’ve really appreciated reading it with my children and it’s opened my eyes to the truths of God’s word, too. We highly recommend!

Must haves for Christians
I absolutely adore the enchanting illustrations and the thoughtful interpretation of the Bible tailored for children's understanding! Each story is beautifully crafted, making the messages both engaging and relatable for young minds. We utilize this resource for our Sunday school classes, and the kids are genuinely captivated by it. Their enthusiasm and joy when interacting with the content is truly heartwarming!

A beautiful Bible
This Bible is absolutely beautiful! My kids reach for it first at bedtime. It’s has quality pages and binding. I love the images. They’re colorful and engaging. It is written in kid friendly language but there is also a maturity to it. My kids are in that in between stage of learning and reading the Good Book and this was perfect. It will now be a Christmas gift for all the children in my life.

Beautiful In Art and Words
The media could not be loaded. The Storybook Bible is an enlightening, engaging, funny, clever, and beautiful retelling of the story of the Bible in bite-sized, art-filled chunks. What stands out at first look is the amazing artwork. The cohesive style by Don Clark is really something else. You could just page through this book without even reading the stories and be built up.However, upon reading, you realize the playful yet profound art of the words as well. There are jokes and wordplay in these retelling of key Bible stories, but also a really good grasp of the through line of theology. The prayers at the end of the each story often then connect the story to Jesus and our faith.A note on the theological bias: there is a representational and non-sacramental view displayed in the accounts involving baptism and the Lord’s Supper, for my Lutheran, Anglican, Catholic, Calvinist, and Orthodox friends. Overall, though, there isn’t any other spin here besides Christocentricity that I’ve seen so far.

Beautiful illustrations unlike any bible story book I've seen before
I bought this book because the illustrations are unlike any Bible storybook I've seen before. Honestly, some of the images can be a bit intense for kids due to their bold, dramatic style. My boyfriend isn’t a believer but is open to going to church with me, so I thought this book would be a great way to share Bible stories with him, especially since I knew he’d appreciate the unique art style. There are also YouTube videos that correspond with the book, which are a helpful resource.

Lovely book!
I love using these Bible stories as quick homeschooling lessons. They are easy to understand for small children, engaging and the pictures are very unique but beautifully done.! For reference my kids are 5 & 6 years old and they really enjoy the stories and have no problem understanding them.
