My dermatologist asked if I use sun-blocking lip balm. I had some biopsied precancerous tissue on my lip edge that he treated. I told him, yes I wear it, if I am going to be hiking or otherwise out in the sun all day. He told me to use it EVERY DAY and EVERY TIME. The kind I had been using wasn't the greatest to use every day and every time, so I researched and found this.I like it because it covers a wide area with one sweep. It doesn't taste weird, and it feels good. It seems to last a reasonable amount of time. It makes me feel confident that I am giving my lips the best protection I can, whether I am walking across the street to the mailbox, or on an all-day hike in the desert sun.

I prefer Banana Boat lip balm to every other brand I ever tried.It's not waxy or goopy or too thick or too thin. ~ It's just right. ~It's a little expensive and sometimes hard to find when traveling abroad.So I buy a bunch of it and take it with me when I go on vacation.
