COSMO COS-GRP486G 48 in. 5.5 cu. ft. Double Oven Gas Range with 8 Italian Burners and Heavy Duty Cast Iron Grates in Stainless Steel

So far I have no complaints about the Cosmo range. It is everything that I expected from the description by Amazon and was delivered shortly after the order was placed. It was worth the $20 to have it brought into the kitchen. A true bargain! The range looks great and cooks very nicely. My wife and I are both very pleased.

This stove was great, but now it has 2 issues. 1) the timer dial is broken.It just spins and spins and spins, and the timer no longer works, So the automatic shut off also no longer works2) The igniter is not working. The stove top burners needs to be lit with a lighter and therefore the oven is not usable. So essentially, after having this for 4 years, it has almost become useless, which is upsetting because it was very expensive and since I ordered it on amazon I have no clue as to how to even find someone to fix it. Of course I was not offered a warranty at the time of purchase.

We absolutely love the Cosmo stove! It looks so beautiful in our new kitchen!!! It works very well too! Saved lots of money not buying a name brand!

I'm not a gourmet cook, so this works great from a variety of burners to a great oven. The bottom is the oven seems to pop when heating and I'm wondering if screws are missing. I'm certain I purchased the extended warranty however can't tell which one it was. There's no # on Amazon to call so will have to search for it. Also, DO NOT USE VINEGAR to clean the rope - it eats the polished finish off the enamel. I didn't read cleaning instructions obviously, as it is in the manual. Wish there was a big yellow sticker on top warning you! UPDATE- I had inspection conducted by gas control and the oven Carbon Monoxide is over twice allowed by gas company. I called Cosmo; however the 1 year warranty expired in July 2020. I’m unable to find if I purchased additional Asurion Warranty. Be aware, if you purchase this range, to have it tested by your local gas company BEFORE FACTOY WARRANTY runs out at 1 year. Even the Asurion warranties aren’t long enough to cover what I discovered today. I was told to exit my home until gas company arrived. The gas company employee said not to use the oven, until I get a Cosmo certified technician out to address-the gas company employee said it’s probably just a bad igniter. Regardless, heads up, if you get it, have it tested for carbon monoxide levels and gas problems way before your 1 year warranty is up. This isn’t a recent problem-others told me they smelled gas, but I just thought it was when I turned on the oven. The burners were emitting high levels of Carbon Monoxide when tested.

This is an awesome range. It feels right on par with the really expensive units. We replaced our old Viking with this model and could not be happier. Customer service was also very helpful and picked up the phone every time we called. With free Amazon shipping you really can’t beat this.Do note that for the LP conversion you will need the pictureD screw driver or smaller. This is required to adjust the flame and the hole to do it is very tiny. A 1.8mm wide by 60mm long flat screw driver would be ideal but the one pictured also worked (was a bit tight to squeeze in).

The range is beautiful and the price was right. I switched from induction to gas, and found with the COSMO, it is very difficult to slow simmer anything. There isn't much difference in the flame height from MAX to MIN. The oven door is extremely hard to open and the temperature gradients on the oven are hard to judge. It is much more difficult to keep clean than the smooth top induction.

I'm a house flipper, this thing is the hot topic in the house! Cosmo 36"! Right for the the money, right for the looks!!!

I bought this just more than a month and every time I turn on, I have to use a lighter to start up. The handle is too far out that I bumped into it sometime.
