In my opinion this is an amazing tool ! So do read the instructions. Watch videos if you've never done it before. An remember this is a one shot deal, so be careful when installing.

Some of the refrigerant cans have the valve a little deeper than others and won't release w a plastic connector. This one worked well and along with the small 90 degree angle, I could get it on tight fitting connectors in the engine bay.

I used this on my refrigerator but it didn’t work. I don’t think it was this product. The refrigerator was old.

The tool worked, but the gage is inacurate, but that's to be expected for $25. I was able to recharge my freezer, but overcharged it due to the poor quality gage. That said, I simply removed some refrigerant and my freezer works fine.

Why buy a bed fridge when you can fix your own. Easy to use works as it should and reusable

My fridge stopped cooling due to what I suspected was a slow bleed of the refrigerant. The gauge confirmed the issue with a negative reading on the low pressure side of the compressor. I was able to top-up the R-12 easily, and the whole job took only 15 mins.

Everything went smooth in installation. Great value for money. No issue at all, no leaks. No damage.

The kit comes with everything needed and I was able to repair my fridge by adding freon. Previously my fridge wouldn't get any colder than 50ºF and now it will gets too cold down to 29ºF. I had to take a bit of freon out to raise the temperature. Without more sophisticated test equipment, it's impossible to tell how much freon is needed except by trial and error so it didn't loose a star for this. I deducted a star because even though the kit's Bullet Piercing Valve came with two pieces to adapt to the fridge's copper tubing, it did not provide a secure seal. After recharging the fridge, that valve remains on the copper tubing to prevent freon from escaping. I had to order the Supco BPV31 Bullet Piercing Valve from Amazon to use in place of the one that came with the kit.

Works great, it was missing one of the adapters but I managed. Would be 5/5 if a piece was not missing.
