Q: i couldn't get the protective film off both sides.

Assuming the sheet is a blue colour it means there is a protective film. Use a scalpel blade to carefully lift a corner to enable the protective film to be peeled off.

Q: Is this cast or extruded acrylic?

Hummmm?? Its a large sheet. Think it must have been extruded but not 100% sure?

Q: If used as visor material in healthcare settings can it be wiped with alcohol wipes without smear or is it single use?

Dear Sirs, In answer to you question I can't see a problem with wiping it over with alcohol wipes would say try one and see. I used this material for replacement discs on tax disc holders because the ones supplied would mist over and crack due to being in the sun for long periods. I wiped them over with detergent to clean off makings they lasted five to six years perfectly ok hope this has been of some use. Regards Ken Goddard
