Great value for the money
I’ve been using the Avantree E171 wired earbuds for a while now, and overall, they’re pretty solid for the price. The sound quality is decent—not amazing, but clear enough for everyday use. The ear hooks help keep them in place during runs or workouts, which is a big plus. The inline mic and volume control work well for calls and quick volume adjustments. They’re comfortable enough to wear for a couple of hours, though the fit might not be perfect for everyone. If you want affordable, reliable earbuds with a wired connection and decent features for sports, these do the job.

UPDATED: Good Earbuds for price
UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am updating this review that I had initially submitted. Approximately 8 months after I bought these (Sep. 2023), the right earbud stopped working all the sudden. I could jiggle and hold the volume control and the sound would come back, but that was not an option. Therefore, I contacted Avantree Support and let them know what happened. They responded by email within 24 hours (other responses for the Support Incident were even quicker than that), and indicated they would send me a new set at no charge as they were still under warranty and provided clear instructions on how to order the new ones. The new ones arrived yesterday, 05/28/24 and they work like a charm.I am still very satisfied with the earbuds, and the professional customer service provided by Avantree. I still feel these are a very good value for the price, given the way they handled replacing the original defective set.ORIGINAL: I have had these Avantree E171 - Sports Earbuds Wired with Microphone for about 3 weeks now and I mainly use these on the treadmill when I run. I have found these to be more than adequate for that purpose. I previously bought Koss $6 headphones for the same purpose but I found those didn't last long enough before one of the earpieces would just go dead. With the Avantree, I can see that for the price, they are a little better made and the wiring is a little stronger. They don't seem flimsy at all, and the earbuds themselves and the portion that fits on your ears seem to be sturdy. They fit on my ears nicely enough with the loops and they do not bother me with or without glasses. They come with the middle size eartips attached, but I did find that when I run on the treadmill, they seemed to jump around a little, so I put on the larger ones. (The earbuds come with 3 sizes of eartips). The eartips are a little hard to get off and get the new ones on but you just need to grab the main part of the earbud and grab the base of the eartip and twist and pull a little to take it off, then work the new one on to the stem by working the opening of the eartip on the stem and pushing down and twisting a little. I have dexterity issues with my hands and I still got them on and off in about a minute. As far as the sound, these are not bass heavy at all, but that is fine (especially for the price) as the music I listen to doesn't have much bass (such as with rap and some rock), but I found there is enough bass where needed, and they provide a nice rich, melodic sound without being "tinny" at all.In addition, although they do not have built-in noise cancelling functionality, I find that with the larger eartips when I am on the treadmill in our community fitness room, I do not hear the lady that babbles on loudly and continuously :). Thank You Avantree!I have not tried these with a cell phone, so I can't speak to using with that. But, I have tried these on an iPod shuffle, an iPod touch and an iPad. The product listing here under "Before You Buy, Please Note That..." notes:"The built-in volume control does not work on PC, laptop, or iOS MP3 players, and the volume up button does not work on the Pixel 3A and Galaxy A9, S10, and Note 9 (it'll activate Google Assistant instead)."I will verify the in-cord volume control and the pause button does not work on the iPod shuffle, but I found they DO work on the iPod Touch and my iPad. Seems to be a bit of a bonus.Overall, I think they are worth the price and provide a set of nice sounding wired earbuds.

Good for Travel
These are nice and have good sound quality. Good to use in airplane and during tourist tours. I only wish it came with a case to protect them when not used.

Love these
They look just like the pictures. I bought these because I have a bunch of piercings in my ears & ear buds always fall out. I went to the gym this morning and wore these for the first time. They fit perfectly & didn't fall out during my workout. I highly recommend these. I used them with my IPod touch , they fit and the sound was good.

Buy these!
I bought a pair of beats wired headphones from amazon .. They did not compare to these headphones. These are top tier for the price. They sound nice enough for earbuds. Decent bass to treble sound. I use these for gaming because using an actual gaming headset started giving me headaches. They do not fall out of ears or wiggle loose. If you're looking for a decent pair of headphones GET THESE. For the price you cannot beat it!

This is a solid pair of headphones if you like corded earbuds that won't ever fall out.
These were the design of headphones I've been looking for, they create the perfect support so I know they won't fall out, but don't take up so much space my ears get warm or rub against it. They're great. And so far the jack in hasn't broken so feels like the wires and casing are stronger then most your throw away cheap headphones. For the price, these are straight up a must to just have in your bag as a cheaper second pair. Bluetooth works great for phone calls. I can't decide if the cord length is too short, or just right. I kinda was not stoked at how short it was at first, but so far no issues in pockets and doesn't catch on stuff like a longer cord would. And yea, I'll never not do corded headphones, so keep making them. Great buy!

Sound is good, but a pain to keep plugging back in
USB c connection is kind of faulty. Requires unplugging and plugging headphones back in after a few videos or if leaving an app and re-entering.Sound quality is good. 3.5mm version was very reliable.
