Like for like replacement
You know how it is. You look for a replacement only to find that they stopped making it years ago. The domestic burglar alarm was fitted when the house was built some 15 years ago. In a power cut some years ago the alarm activated. I thought I must get around to replacing the battery. Then a couple of weeks ago another power cut. This time no alarm sounded. Either the 15 year old battery was in full health or utterly dead... Direct like for like, identical replacements still available. Yay!Ordered on Amazon from Premier Solutions. Great price. Great service. Battery arrived in two days. Looks almost identical to the original - except the replacement now has a URL printed on it.Switching over to the new battery was a breeze. Make a note of the existing battery orientation and which terminals have the red and black cables. The terminal clips take a bit of a pull to pull off the old battery, but nothing excessive. Care needs to be taken to ensure the ends of the leads dont touch when switching. Plastic covers on the new battery are firmly attached so need a little persuasion to come away. Pull the towards the centre of the battery so as to not bend the terminals vertical. Clip the cables on to the new battery terminals ensuring polarity is the same as the original. Lock the control panel door.Took all of two minutes. The TPR light (Tamper light) on the setting box was flashing, so I simply reset the alarm.Great product. Highly recommended.

Exactly the battery I needed for my burglar alarm.
This is a life saver. My burglar alarm starting going haywire and going off constantly after a power cut (I had a house full of guests and kids turning on lots of gadgets all over the place and the power couldn't cope). I couldn't de-activate this thing and the pincode simply wasn't working. Finally, after annoying the neighbours for about an hour I finally got the default pin and disabled my alarm. However, I need a new battery and fast. This thing was exactly the same as the battery in the unit that had failed. It took all of 5 minutes to switch it over and thankfully my alarm woes are over. This has been installed now for years and years and it still works perfectly fine. Really happy I could find something like this on Amazon.

Looks like a good buy.
Advised to change the mains battery on house alarm, as it was 12 years old. Replaced with identical battery. As the old one was working properly, there is no obvious difference. Seem ok. Arrived before due date, not in wrapping or box, but as long as it does the job, no complaints. very good service.

Very simple to install. Don't pay professionals to change battery
Alarm company wanted £99 call out charge to look at alarm system when I said I needed a new battery. Then charge for work and cost of materials. No chance. I ordered this battery on line for £12.79 including p&p and fitted myself in a couple of minutes. Simply remove 2 plastic covers on new battery. Disconnect old battery taking care of which colour is which - red and black. Fit to new battery and off you go. You do have to switch your alarm off a couple of times as it thinks it is being tampered with. Otherwise very easy. My husband is the DIY person in our house but I wanted to do this and it worked a treat. Highly recommended. Next power cut should be no problem as battery will now take over. Old one had been in since house was built in 1998! Previous owners obviously lived with problem for a long time. The battery simply sits inside the alarm box in your hallway. Exact size not required as it sits on shelf under wires. Go for it.

Nice price for a premium product
I've been meaning to replace my burglar alarm battery for a while now, but kept forgetting. These batteries only have a useable life of 3 to 5 years, mine had been in for 12! It was, therefore, no suprise when, during a recent power cut, my alarm, and those of my two neighbours, started sounding and continued to do so for over a half hour until the batteries in the sounder units went flat. A timely reminder to replace the battery in the control panel!I ordered three of these batteries for mine and my neighbours alarms, fitted in less than 5 minutes each. Job sorted, if the power goes off the alarms now stay silent (and continue to work if they're set).Yuasa are a proprietry brand, I have used them in the past in automobiles and they provide great service, I expect these smaller ones will perform just as well, and such good value.I now need to remember to replace them after 3 to 5 years of use!

not sure if I got unlucky or what, but ...
not sure if I got unlucky or what, but as a daily driver for solar panel setup it does power up a fan for 24H while charged to maximum, after that voltage drops rapidly, I would expect it to have bigger capacity.. I am going to get lithiums in the future those are not energy efficient.

Accenta 8 Mini Battery Replacement
I bought this battery to fix the common ‘dead keypad’ issue on our Accenta 8 Mini alarm. The keypad lights were lit but were unresponsive and therefore the alarm was useless. It’s dead easy to replace the battery. I chose to turn off the main electricity as I didn’t particularly fancy killing myself, unscrewed the panel and simply swapped the battery over. As soon as you swap the battery the keypad will become responsive again, allowing you to enter your code and silence the alarm. Once mains power was switched back on, the power indicator on the keypad was lit and the alarm is back to functioning properly. The only thing I can’t work out is how to reset the ‘tamper’ indicator light. Perhaps someone could help me with this. All in all, highly recommended for fixing your alarm.
