These bean curd snacks are addictive and very delicious. They are spicy, but the spiciness may vary slightly from one snack packet to the next. The flavor though is outstanding in my opinion. They have a very meaty texture. I read the ingredients more than once to make sure they are vegetarian. At least according to the lable, they are. I will definitely be ordering more.

I was making a traditional hot and sour soup and it called for a spicy tofu so I purchased this product.The package contains numerous small packets which I liked because not everyone in my cooking group wanted to use it.I do think this is an acquired taste for most Americans but in the soup with many other ingredients it was perfect and added an extra layer of umami and spiciness that the soups made without it did not have.

Flavor is really good but they advertised it being chewy. It’s not chewy at all. It’s like biting into soft cold chicken. Not completely unpleasant. But I was specifically looking for something chewy and I’m a bit put off by its texture. Too much like meat for me. I’m going to see about maybe adding it to some onigiri to help.

It's really good, high protein, but would be great if they decreased salt content

The product information on Amazon was inaccurate. Despite wheat not being listed on the ingredients page for this product, it is listed on the package itself (Picture provided). If you have celiac or are on a gluten free diet, don’t buy this. I also can’t return it since it’s a non returnable item. I hope the seller sees this and allows me to return it or refunds me.
