Package arrived on time, exactly what I ordered, great starting point beginner for diorama makers

Great modelling foam, works very well and easy to model. Only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because should never have to pay this much for foam, but it is a good price compared to some of the others.

My so. Uses this foam for sculpting and for cosplay and armor making . Decent price and is as advertised

The pieces were not square, 7 of my 12 pieces were deformed and would not fit together how I needed bc of this. It’s like it was cut incorrectly on the edge. Look elsewhere for these.

Not 12"×15" as advertised. Short on each side. I intended to cut these into 12x12 panels for a crafting project but they're unusable for my purposes because of this discrepancy.

I have read a lot of the other reviews and yes it is more porous and not as smooth as other foams or XPS insulation … but the open pores and the ease of using a craft knife and sculpting tools, is wonderful for creating the texture of rocks/stones/boulders for what I am using. I don’t find it breaks off while trying to cut or shape it. You need to use stronger tools but it can still be carved well. gauche paint definitely didn’t adhere to it but Acrylic works just fine. You may have to add some layers of paint to cover it all but if you sand it down first it’s even easier.

More like 11.75x11.75. so if you need exactly 12x12, skip this.
