It’s well worth owning
Very useful tool for transplanting seedlings. Makes it a lot easier and keeps seedling damage to a minimum.

Easy to use and dig holes for bulbs or plants. Handle is comfortable. Shovel seems to be very strong.

great for looking for gopher tunnels
I am pretty sure that is not the intended use, but when the gopher man came to help me set up traps, he was really impressed with this tool as a way to find tunnels. I suppose it is also good for planting daffodil bulbs, but I use my hand drill and largest bit for that.
