This could easily have been a five star product. It's fairly easy to put together, however the instructions are poor. They would be easy to follow, however the printing quality is really bad and they appear faded in sections, so you can't make out the photos. Some of the bolts are called nuts too!The main section screws together well. It's when you get to the clamps that it's bad...you ideally need to install the square bolts in the rail earlier on, however it doesn't tell you to do so, meaning that you have to undo the front section to get them in. The baffles on the sides are also tricky to fit and, due to the surfaces of the rails not being perfectly flat in parallel, they 9nly do up flush on the one surface, leaving exposed screws at an angle on the other.Onto installing the roof bars, these are really poor quality. They're just the right length, but the metal is fairly weak. The clamps that go into your roof rails don't have any form of padding to protect the vehicle's rails, so will likely get scratched over time.The worst bit...3 of the 4 rail clamps have normal nuts on the pivot sections, rather than lock nuts. There's therefore a huge risk of these coming undone. I've had to buy some locking nuts to put on.The bolts that clamp onto the cross bars are too long, so end up cutting into the included bars. They're out of sight though, so this isn't too problematic and will create a sturdier fit in the long run. One of the washers (which should actually be square washer-style pieces) has a chunk out of it.As you can imagine, I've had to modify and add bits to these to fit them safely.Whilst the main tray itself gets around 4.5 stars, the roof bars included really let this down, so drop it to an average 3. I'd only give 1 star for the bars alone as they really are poor quality.Overall, this meets my needs now that I've modified and added nuts, etc to fit, but I'm disappointed by the issues outlined above.Update: a year on:This has been mounted to my roof the last year and has served its purpose well, with us regularly holidaying and putting a folding roof bag onto it.The metal quality is awful, however. I suspect it won't last much longer. The roof bars and the flat panels have all rusted and the paint is hanging off. It's really disappointing in that respect.

Very poor quality product. I'm very disappointed in the item. It comes flat packed and has very poor instructions.The clamps to hold it to the roof are shockingly bad. I wouldn't risk putting this on you vehicle as its likely to come off.

It’s a nice looking roof rack, not sure on how much weight it can cope with. Easy enough to put together, but doesn’t tell you to put the flat square nuts into the groves at the bottom of the side rails.

Been using for a while had ordered 3 they are very light and cheap flimsy not worth the price
