Feeling properly clean
I have digestive issues that mean i need to go several times a day. Loo paper by the truck load and a sore ring…. Finally got this installed and much happier… a warm rinse, blow dry and a small amount of paper to ‘check’ all is washed away.Finding the right position for the wand can take a while, but worth it.Bad points… for rear waste, the instructions given say 180mm centre for the waste pipe, but the exit on the loo is 160mm.. so you need to use the P trap, which seems designed to clog… so install waste at 160mm for a straight connection…. Also, the app (yes there is an app!) comes with zero instruction, so you select your loo, it registers….and thats all… no functions on screen or anything.

This is very good - BUT ...
This is great - I really do love it. However, I only gave 4 stars for the following minor bugs.Firstly, the water for the bidet takes a while to heat up on warmest setting - longer honestly than I imagine most people are willing to sit around waiting for. It comes out warm enough after a short while, but sitting there until the heating element stops takes ages. It is December in the UK at time of writing, so take that into account.Next, while the sensor will auto-lift the lid, there's no way to automatically lift the seat without pressing the button on the remove control or beginning to lift it yourself. Sorry fellas - blatant sex discrimination as usual. We have it so bad. There's no way that fan will dry your butt - even on max blow and heat. Maybe I'm not waiting long enough, but I feel any longer and evaporation will do its work alone. I still have to dab with tissue to avoid err ... leaving with a damp undercarriage.Having to use that bit of paper is not entirely a bad thing as ... (how can I put this sensitively?...) depending on your ... 'workload', the spray might not always tidy things up completely unless you use multiple times / patterns. This is a combination of biology and physics so don't blame the machinery. If the jets were more powerful, it would blow some people off the seat. I suppose you could fit a harness but that kinda removes the no-touch element ...Although the description mentions back to the wall - clearly, it isn't the same as those loos that are literally flat at the rear.Speaking of back to the wall, it's a good idea to sit on the seat so as to leave no gap at the rear. This avoids any mis-direction of the jets. When playing with water settings, don't be surprised if you're a bloke trying out the feminine function and you end up spraying the cupboard in front of you. Stop it, there are only two genders.I find the seat motors a little screechy - at first I thought we'd trapped the cat somewhere. In the middle of the night, you'll wake thinking a banshee is hiding in your en-suite. Quieter motors would have been good. The auto-open side sensor is annoying as it triggers as soon as you enter the bathroom whether you want to use the loo or not. A sensor at the front would have been better. I've turned the auto-open off because of this. Finally, there's an app that you can use to control the loo instead of the remote control - well, you could if they hadn't removed the bluetooth functionality for the EU versions. What a pity - I'd have loved to surprise the wife with a cold douche every now and then!To my surprise and relief, the tankless aspect seems to be fine. This does however mean I have an empty fitted unit behind which can't easily be used for storing anything else (officer). At the end of the day, this is a great alternative to a separate bidet. I've never tried one before but glad I got this. Yes, you will spend a little longer on the throne than you might have before, but for me, it definitely feels worth it. Listen to an audio book or something.NB - I purchased during Black Friday - crazy good price. Not sure I'd be shelling out anywhere near full rrp.

Vat exemption for medical reasons?
The item itself is excellent and meets my every needs and expectations. However customer services from Amazon is non existent. The item should be free of vat as I have a medical condition, but Amazon have totally ignored all my requests both email and letter, to refund the vat payment.
