Well worth the minimal extra cost!
I chose the Koehler seat due to Kohler’s name and reputation of quality! I actually have purchased three new toilet seats for my home in the past year. Two were from here and one was from Walmart but the higher end quality. I can tell THIS IS THE BEST out of the three! It just looks and feels so much better. Soft close is perfect, hinged are SOLID, and seat is good quality and thickness. Cleans well and no streakingfrom cleaners. I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! I’m going to only order this one if needed in future. It’s a 🏆🏆 winner in my book!

Nice seat
Possibly one of the nicest seats for a kohler toilet.Bolts are awesome and do not shift.Seat design have a bit of play at hinge, and flexes under weight, but is possibly the best option available honestly and the no shift front pads work amazingly well.

It does the job
Just know that this is plastic...not wood. To me, this feels like the plastic seat which comes with a Kohler Toilet but since it's self closing, it doesn't bang closed and sound tinny. When I sit on it closed, it does feel pretty sturdy and doesn't bend. I ordered this one to replace a broken Kohler Stonewood seat on which the plastic hinge just snapped. I like the way the hinges are hidden and hopefully, the plastic will last a bit longer than 2 1/2 years.
