Absolutely worth the money!!
I bought this as a submix and interface for my drums. It works perfectly! The onboard effects are usable. It will only record in stereo vs 8 tracks. I would not be afraid to use it live. Love it!

EXTREMELY Good Value!!
This is a little workhorse for the money!! Yes, the faders are light, plastic, and a bit flimsy - but if you're just a little careful with them, this unit will last a long time. Mine has been running the sound in my backyard pool area almost daily for the past year and it's running just as well today as it did when I took it out of the box. To have that many channels, that much control, including on-board effects, this is the best value for the money I've ever seen on Amazon. If you're not a "road-band" gigging nightly, then you should buy this. If you're a gigging band, this won't hold up. You'll need to go the "Mixing Station" route. Don't use this. But for anyone who is looking to mix music on the fly, in a relatively stable spot, this can't be beat. Period. (And no, I'm not a "vine" person who got one for free to write a good review... )
