Not what I expected
I just wrote a whole review and I don’t know what happened to it. I hope I can cover the same points. This paper was rather expensive! And not what I expected. But I am not a normal user. This was the first for me. I didn’t realize that a lot of the different markers that I had wouldn’t show up. I thought I did a lot of research but apparently not. I tried alcohol markers, sharpie markers, acrylic, markers, colored pencils and gel pins. The only thing that showed up was the Acrylic markers. Some didn’t show at all and the rest weren’t vibrant.You may already know this. And may have experience with black paper. But in case there’s someone out there like me, this might help to know. The picture is scratch piece of all the different mediums that I tried. Several of them I had to go over many times to even show up. The paper is nice and thick - very substantial.

Paintings & writing on black paper
This paper is very thick. It’s like a cardboard and it does very well with acrylic paint or acrylic paint pens. Also there are acrylic magic markers that work perfect on it. Every color comes out clear and beautiful thank you. This product is great.

Not Happy with Item Sent
The black watercolor pad was shipped warped and the first several pages are slightly damaged i.e., bent on the lower right section of the page.

I like painting on black paper with bright colors.
I like to paint flowers on black paper with bright colors. Daisies are nice on black, or hydrangeas.

Great for colored pencils, not so much for watercolors.
I was hoping this would hold up to watercolors, but it wrinkled and warped quite a lot. I was able to flatten it after it dried. It worked very well with Prismacolors. And metallic markers of course look amazing on this.

Nice paper
I bought this for use with mixed media - acrylic, watercolor paints, collage, etc. . So far it withstood use with acrylic which is encouraging.
