Goodman 4 Ton 14 SEER Heat Pump Package Unit

My daughter's AC went out and was given a quote of $8,000 to install a new one. So my husband decided to do this himself. After much research we purchased this one. They delivered it right to the house. After getting the transition prepared, we higher a crane and it was place on the roof (normal for Arizona). My husband hooked it up and turned it on. It was so quiet that he thought it wasn't running. I felt the cool air and told him it was running. He went to the roof before he could hear the AC. It also has a heat pump to keep the house warm in the Winter. I am so jealous that I want one for my home. I am hoping the electric bills will be cheaper since it is much more efficient than the old one.

Bought Goodman because I thought it was reputable. In 2 years, I have had to replace the defrost control board at least 8 times, just as many capacitors, 2 contact switches, and a new fan and other things I can't remember. I went to work in HVAC to keep the POS working. Sent message to Goodman, never heard a word! Customer service, NONEXISTENT!!!

I installed myself, local A/C companies wanted $12,000.00 I did it myself for UNDER $5,000 total and a better system to boot, unit had a few dents and scratches when delivered but it seems fine, happy with it.-Chris

It stopped working evaporative motor, cost over 500. dollars. My house has 3 A/C units. I will replace the next 2 with a Train.

It came a lot faster than Amazon said. They delivered it with a semi truck but truck driver was very nice and helped us get it in place. No damage and keeps our house nice and cool. It’s saving us a lot of money on electric more than the last air conditioner unit did and this one is bigger. Also easy install if you know what your doing. We installed it November 23,2021. It’s now February 7th,2022 and it’s been working great
