We have a 10 and seven year-old so it was great to have two sizes in one package. They do have to make a choice whether to have the hand guard on or have the blade securely in the case, but they don’t seem to mind.

My husband loves his swords and these are safe to train our children with.

Pretty decent bokken (wood) style blades. Cheap-sounding but decent looking scabbards.Stand is not worth much.The katana blade is a tad too long for realistic dimensions and the handle is a tad too short for the blade length.The wakasashi blade is a tad too long for me, personally, but the handle length is OK.I am not unhappy with these training tools. THEY ARE NOT SPARRING WEAPONS.

The swords are fantastic and exactly as described. The stand is functional but a bit wobbly. The belt is made of faux leather, which likely won’t last over time, and the buckle hardware feels a bit flimsy and may not hold up under heavy use. However, for a practice sword or cosplay set, it’s actually very well made. The quality of the plastic on the swords is impressive, and it even comes with a few bonus items.

The Good:-Excellent plastic quality (seem incredibly strong)-Removable tsubas-Practical belt-Great sliding/locking action in sayaThe OK:-Tsuka ito is molded plastic (it’s fine for practice swords but feel like they could have gone a step further with actual cord)-Stand isn’t the most stable (it works but not as good as many out there)-Belt is faux leather (probably won’t hold up long-term)-Buckle hardware seems cheap (might break over with heavy use)The Bad:-NothingFor a practice sword/cosplay set this is actually really well made. The plastic quality on the swords is exceptional and it even comes with a few extras. Sword belt loops are completely functional and it does come with a cheaper belt. They use a combination of Velcro and metal buckles to secure each saya at 2 points, this is actually better than many designs despite being made from cheaper materials. Included belt is lower quality but it’d be very easy to replace and would work for many uses. Included stand is strong but not the best design for stability, really not a big deal for practice swords since you probably won’t be displaying them anyways and if you do, they’d fit in other stands. Overall, I was impressed with the level of detail they went to with these swords and they are really quite strong. I think they’re an easy yes for someone that wants a good-looking set of plastic swords.

The swords are good quality and have held up well to use for sparring. Balance is decent. Still hurt when they hit you but don’t injure anything. The frog/belt, however, literally fell apart (the rivets popped open and the “leather” tore) on the first use - pretty useless.

Swords have worked well and have held up well. The holder is not sturdy. We returned the first set because the holder broke and within a few days of receiving the replacement, the fasteners broke off the new one. The belt part is still in tact but without the holders it is useless. Not fixable.

The swords are excellent and exactly what I was seeking. The stand is functional and fine. The belt is too short for me, but I have other belts, so that is okay. However, the part that holds the swords on the belt was missing from the box (the only reason for losing a star). I have searched for the seller's contact information to see if I could get one sent, but no luck on the ability to make contact. I do not want to return the product but may have to in order to get all the parts.
