Great product for students to complete lab recipes with. Easy to weigh on training scales and combine with other ingredients for teaching other procedures.

I used this zinc oxide power to make homemade sunscreen. I chose this because it is non-nano and uncoated so it is more safe. I used this to make sunscreen, which was very easy and mixed well. You can add coconut oil, other essentials oils to make your sunscreen.

This food grade powder is very nice. Would recommend.

At first glance, this appeared to be high quality zinc oxide. However, it lists a manufacture date of 08/03/2024, the problem being that it's only June of 2024 so apparently it has time traveled back in time to be shipped to me (see photo). This makes me wonder about the company and whether they made a careless mistake or if this was intentional but the product was shipped sooner than expected. Either way, it's a potentially big issue so I took off 3 stars. In terms of positives, I like the fact that it's non-nano but finely milled. It does leave a white cast when combined with lotion, but one can add powder foundation over it to lessen the white cast.
