Impressive Detail and Portability: Macro Digital Microscope Review
The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a compact digital microscope that delivers impressive magnification and ease of use, this Microscope for you.Design and Build:The Microscope has a sleek and portable design, making it easy to carry around for fieldwork at home, or in a lab. It has a 2.0-inch color screen for immediate viewing without needing an external monitor. Its is fixed focus, but it ensures simple and reliable use in capturing great images at a set magnification level.Performance and Magnification:Magnification power of up to 500x, the microscope provides excellent detail, for examining small objects, insects, or intricate details in materials. It has 200w pixel resolution, not the highest on the market, but more than adequate clarity for most. The built-in 8 LEDs offers decent lighting, so you get mostly well-illuminated images, the led lighting could be tweaked a bit. When held too close over certain objects the leds will not offer very good lighting, but this is a very case by case thing.Ease of Use:what can I say, the controls are straightforward, and the fixed focus eliminates complex adjusting. The microscope is powered by a rechargeable battery, which sufficient for extended viewing. You can use the battery, or you can plug in to your computer and view on your monitor with the compatible software. Both plugged in to your computer and running on battery allows to capture both still and video imagesCompatibility:The microscope is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS, making it versatile for various users. However, it’s worth noting I am unsure about Linux, but I am sure it should have no issue there eitherImage Quality and Practicality:The image quality is excellent. The clarity and color accuracy are decent, though not as high-definition as some premium models. The fixed focus may limit its use for detailed viewing, but for general observation purposes, it can't be beat for the price.Final Thoughts:The Microscope offers balance of portability, ease of use, and magnification power. While it may not beat more advanced models in terms of image resolution and focus flexibility, it's excellent value for its price. For a practical and affordable digital microscope, this model is well worth you money.I will upload a second short video of actual unboxing and use very soon.

Fantastic Microscope - read the product details!
I *love* this little microscope! It is exactly what it says it is - an extremely portable, fixed-focus microscope. Looking at some of the negative reviews, it seems like some people thought they were buying a magnifying glass. Magnifying glasses and microscopes are NOT the same thing. This is for looking at something very small, very up close. You basically have to put the microscope onto what you're looking at. This is what I wanted, so that I could view PCB traces for microscopic damage. If you're looking for something to read a book with, or read the instructions on pizza rolls, you're looking at the wrong product. That said, it does have a small, regular magnifying glass on it, which is good for limited reading or helping to find exact where you're wanting to put the microscope. If you're looking for a MICROSCOPE with a FIXED-FOCUS then this is PERFECT, especially at this low price point.

Surprised by quality, can't verify if 500x, well worth the $20 I spent
Pros:-works well, did as advertised, didn't seem overly boastful in their literature, and ended up being way less of a gimmick as I was expecting this to be at this price.-LCD display is not a gimmicky display. I don't know the resolution on it, but the images on it look sharp. You can easily use it in the field to look at things. There is way more than enough pixels at work here to retain details of the thing you're looking at and is clearly IPS quality. It's really a nice screen. Surprisingly nice given the price of this is like $25 (though this clearly almost always has coupons on it, and I snagged mine for $20), even at $25, what's on offer here is amazing.-Battery life is pretty decent as well. Easily been able to break the 1hr of use mark on this thing and doesn't take TOO long to recharge.-Light Ring, very nice and very usefulCons:-image quality when viewed on a PC or reviewing the files. That's where things start to fall apart, and you realize, 2MP is a little too low. It's usable, but as soon as you zoom past like 150% of the image size, things become a pixelated mess.-Snapshot, the button is flush with the edges, could use a BUMP to it, or slight raise, since the power button is recessed on the front-Not the most intuitive, since I had to hit the manual to figure out how to adjust the brightness of the LED lights. Also there's really no settings here. No settings for formatting SD card, no settings for LCD brightness, which I get, and I don't. To change the LED Brightness you hold down the PLUS OR MINUS BUTTON.-Zooming in and button responsiveness. This might be due to the buttons being flush on the device's rim, but sometimes when I pushed the button and thought I heard the "CLICK" of it being actuated, nothing would happen. Also, until a few days ago, after like a week with this thing, I just learned there was a fourth zoom level.-Zooming. I think doesn't have DIGITAL ZOOM, when you "ZOOM" in, what you're doing is only affecting the view finder's zoom. Since I took pictures of the same area on my phone cover, at every zoom level, the output file looked nearly identical save for some minor human hand movement error. Meaning the "ZOOM" is only for viewfinder mode, which is kind of useful. 1x helps you get to what you're trying to look at and then when you're in the area, you can get a closer look with the zoom levels.-Orientation, due to how large the "WELL" and recess is for the camera and LED light ring, it's sometimes hard to hone in on your subject, also due to that large indent, means your subject you're over needs to be larger than the 3in Diameter lens area. Since this is set to the focal distance. Meaning for smaller items like when I looked at a bottle cap, you're basically hovering the device above the smaller objects, and manually focusing that way.-Thought smaller circle was a hole, to loop a cord through or a carabiner, to latch it to backpacks, a kid's wrist, etc. NOPE, magnifying glass. That was a bummer. Since being an adult the former wish would be more practical. While there seems to be a lot of "CONS", the reality is, at this price, I was 100% ready to accept it as a scam or not as advertised. For the most part, this didn't make boastful claims, and does technically execute everything as advertised. Again, can't 100% confirm 500x magnification, but it let me see the gross lattice work that is human flesh. Which you can't see with the naked eye, or even a magnifying glass. I think this toy is actually functional beyond the "CHILD" age range that this advertises as, and can be used as they show, coin checking, or even Chip on a PCB checking. Just wished the buttons weren't so flush and were easier to press. At 20-25 USD, 100% recommend it.

Easy to use, sharp focus, powerful.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Old eyes needed a closer look. When my wife asks, "Is this a tick?" Sometimes it was hard to tell unless I was wearing three pairs of glasses. This device is powerful, clear, and can capture photos (to show my wife - no, it isn't a tick). At this point (just bought it), I am very satisfied.
