Bake Like a Pro! 🍞 Unleash the secret to crispy perfection!
Baker's Ammonia (Ammonium Carbonate) is an 8 oz, non-toxic leavening agent that enhances the crispiness of flat baked goods. Used historically by bakers, it dissolves easily in hot water and contains no fillers, making it a pure choice for your baking needs.

European form of baking soda
Works best in European recipies. Just like our baking soda.

Wonderful Scandinavian baking product
I have made my Danish grandmother's cookies this (and was published years ago). At that time I had to pulverize the large pieces unless I could find a pharmacy that would do it for me. This is definitely NOT the liquid ammonia, but when baking the cookies a very slight aroma of ammonia exists. First time tasters are usually skeptical until they taste these delicious and light cookies. They are not a sugar cookie and contain no eggs.

Great for your great-great-grandmother's ginger cookie recipe
My german grandmother has a cookie recipe that calls for Hirschhorn Salz (originally made from the ground antlers of reindeer, this is an ancestor of modern baking powder) which is difficult to find. I was able to buy this for her recipes and she was thrilled. She also said this amount would last a long time. :-)
