Very solidly made. I used to have a very old Rubbermaid plastic folding one under the counter, but it no longer kept the roll in place - when you pulled on the roll, it fell to the counter.This will easily hold jumbo rolls - Brawny super rolls have about 2.25-2.5 inches of paper on the roll, and this will allow a roll that has up to around 3.25 inches of paper towels on the roll. Friction from the bar helps keep the roll from spinning somewhat, but if you pull hard enough, you can still waste lots of paper towels.The unit came with 5 screws - 2 longer screws with inserts for mounting on a sheet rock wall, 2 shorter screws for mounting under a cabinet, and a spare screw to hold the white plastic tip that keeps the roll from falling off in case you lose that. It even has a web site to register the product for the lifetime warrantee.Installation was not bad. - I installed it under a counter The instructions showed mounting bar pointing to the right, to the left, or face down. (I really don't see anyone actually mounting it face down, seems like the stopper at the end isn't big enough to prevent the roll from slipping). Mounting with the bar to the left would require unscrewing the screw that holds the plastic holder on the rod and flipping it over so that the stopper faces up. Whoever wrote the instructions did an excellent job. They also include a paper template so you can easily drill the starter holes for the screws.

Very solid feel and construction. Good quality finish. This is a bit heavy, so not so good for RVs where weight matters. Excellent for home use. Design is simple and elegant and functional.You can mount this horizontally or vertically. Best mounted on wood cabinet or wall stud, don't use anchor bolts provided for drywall, it gets too much pulling for drywall mounting. Package comes with screws and a paper template for mounting. You can slip paper towel roll onto bar, then twist white knob on top so that the roll anchors without slipping off. Roll moves smoothly on bar. This is made in China, but well made with no issues. Highly recommend.

A very sturdy product that works perfectly but with two installation issues. 1) Reversing the end cap is more difficult that it should be. I needed a right hand mount with the paper towels slipping on from the left so I reversed the end cap. I struggled a bit since the after reversing the end cap I could not replace the screw. I discovered that I had to remove the end cap and then screw in the screw to it to create threads in the plastic. After doing this and replacing the end cap I was able to get the screw in. I saw some other reviewers say the end cap doesn't work but they probably needed to reverse it. If it is in the proper orientation, gravity will keep the paper towel roll tube below the end cap. 2) Another problem I had was that the hardware included is for mounting to wood or wallboard. I mounted mine to the side of a cabinet and didn't want a sharp screw sticking out. I found out that a 20 mm 6 x1.0 metric machine screw worked well but I had to get the screws and nuts separately.

I've had a few paper towels holders. I started with a basic Rubber Maid plastic "spring clip" holder that worked for years until one of the two springs broke and paper towel rolls just fell out because it didn't compression-fit anymore. Then last year I got one with a ratchet and it worked great until the ratchet mechanism broke. I decided to move that one to the basement laundry room because with a broken ratchet it spun so freely it was impossibly to rip a sheet off without spinning the whole roll out (at least when using one hand)This paper towel holder is not only inexpensive, but the way the clip on the end works is excellent and due to its oval mounting bar, it doesn't spin the roll and has just enough resistance. The materials are surprisingly good; no stripped threads, stainless mounting plate, chrome polished bar, two sets of mounting screws, and no sharp burrs.The only other holder I'd recommend is the SimpleHuman with the rubber balls at each end. My parents have this one and we used to have one at our old Condo years ago, it worked great but it doesn't fit our current kitchen aesthetically, but it might look good in yours if you think the DecoBros single bar holder doesn't!

I bought it for my parents caravan, they have previously had a couple of other types that haven't lasted very long. It was longer than the paper towel rolls they use but was very easily cut shorter so that you can't even tell. Very solid construction and smart finish with everything included. They hung it under an over bench cupboard and are very happy with it.It is a quality product and the delivery was ultra quick, 3 very happy people, thank you.I definitely recommend them and their product and would have no hesitation in using them again for future purchases.

Sturdy construction. I suggest when mounting the unit you slightly bend the arm to lie up with the mounting plate.(if required) This allows you to more easily access the screw holes. The unit is made of moderately thick steel and bending it the very minor amount require to align the arm with the wall plate will not fatigue the metal significantly. Once the arm and plate are aligned it is easy to get the unit mounted exactly level on the wall.with a small level. Place the level on the arm or plate, insert the screws, and voila! ... perfectly level towel holder.The unit is nicely chromed and looks attractive in a minimalistic way. Although some folks have had problems with the roll slipping off the arm, I have not encountered that issue. I would buy again.
